I really really needed this. I'm in tears. I've been having a lot of days recently where I've been having the same prayer of just wanting to go home, but He's not done yet. One thing I've learned is that those of us who experience deeper pain also get to experience God's heart even deeper. He is the Healer. He mends broken hearts and people. How could we ever experience Him as our Healer, as the God who suffers with us, if we were never to experience the pain too?

Hi Bri, thank you very much for sharing this! It encourages me because i've been going through something like you, and still are (learning how to) dealing with it. Last year i also went through something what felt like hell was unleashed on me, i had anxiety and panic attacks, was physically and mentally exhausted, and just felt like Jesus didn't protect me, like i was a sitting duck for satan. That really made me pull up a guard around my heart and being disappointed in the Lord, like He wasn't trustworthy. But i had to learn also like you mentioned that the Lord is always good, because i've experienced it many times before in my life, read in the Bible that many man and woman of God went through very tough times, and heard already so many testimonies about how Jesus healed, saved, provided, etc. So i knew He is and was good, but had to learn and trust Him again. I'm really thankful for the people around me who prayed for me and helped me through this because it was hard, really really hard, and sometimes is still, but i know, that i know, that i know that He has a hopeful future because He lives, and thanks to the Lord that it's going better still. Thank you for your vulnerability, it's like a light shining in the darkness, giving hope. Gods blessing for you and greetings from the Netherlands.
