Ms Amanda, I need help please. May I please ask who I can contact to help me file a claim for this. I just recently learned that it even existed. My life has been in shambles since this all happened many years ago. But you have given me hope for the first time that there might be help since 1994. I'm afraid to hope, but I have to try. Thank you for your videos. It seems like you might be someone who undertands.
That doesnt help anybody that has been attacked. Who do victims turn to?
How can a D.C. judges V.A. decision be changed?
100 percent IU P and T. They low balled me at 50 percent because my ptsd for sexual assault is static. My lawyer tore them apart and the judge gave me 100 percent IU and I got SSDI too. 66K a year tax free. Took five years to go from 50 percent to 100 percent IU P and T. SSDi was approved within the first five months.
Is IBS a marker? I developed it after the assault, and indicated it as a marker on my application, which was denied for lack of credible evidence.
I just got my denial letter. In my personal statement, I indicated IBS as a marker. Seems like that would have been sufficient, since a diagnosis of IBS is in my service records. I have a current diagnosis for PTSD, along with the C&P examiner indicating that I have PTSD. My question now is how to get the VA to use the IBS as a marker and approve service connection.
It was my major and i reported it. Handed in gifts and letters. I testified at his court martial and he was dismissed from the marine corps. But... i dont remember exactly what year as it was somewhere between 92-94. Can they find info about this so long ago?
@nixpixmusic What about BACK PAY? I had been denied for many years and attempts. Then, they finally gave me what I deserved.100 percent. But, they only paid me 2 months back from my last attempt. I have seen where vets like me had received this benefit from the DATE IT HAPPENED. Not THE DATE IT WAS FILED FOR THE FINAL ATTEMT. WTF. Why do they do this to vets who risked their lives for their country and get screwed up for life? WHY? I deserve pay. back to 1976. When this all occurred. And the way the VA treated me was unbelievable. For instance. I went to SAN FRANCISCO VA for my back injury . I go there and they tested me for HEARING. Months later I get the letter from the VA stating that they didn't find any hernia on me and I was denied. WTF. 1 month later. I had DOUBLE HERNIA SURGERY. I really messed up trying to save another vet from the tail of an APC coming down on him in GERMANY. I was uneducated on APC ,because I was trained for COMMUNICATION TECHNICIAN. The U.S. ARMY made a big mistake on my MOS . And I'm paying for it in pain and agony ,because of their mistake. I was trained to be the person that repairs the communication equipment in the field. Instead ,they made me a tank operator in the communications field . And I would troubleshoot and (NOT REPAIR) these bad equipments. I was to send them to what my job should have been. A 31b10. COMMUNICATION TECHNICIAN. I was even at FT. SILLS OKLAHOMA for the additional training of AIT 12 WEEKS ! And I had a guarantee to go to FT. ORD,CALIF. for my permanent duty station. WTF. They sent me to GERMANY. And it took weeks for my family to find out where the HELL I was. So, I have many more issues with our U.S. ARMY. Abd have been dealing with this through the worst of suffering times my whole life. SAD BUT TRUE. OUR GOVERNMENT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE TROOPS WHO PUT THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE, SO EVERYONE ELSE CAN KICK BACK AND RELAX AND DO WHAT EVER THEY WANT TO DO. WE ARE THE MAIN REASON WHY THEY CAN DO ALL THOSE THINGS. AND WE DESERVE.WAY,WAY,WAY BETTER. YOU'RE ALL HERE. BECAUSE OF US......
I was in the Army from 1974 to 1979 i have Tinnitus really bad, ringing in my ears 24 hours a day, otherwise I have no other suffering. Can I get any disability compensation or help for this and if so how and how much.
Do some research on the PACT ACT. Tinnitus is something that the VA is paying more vets for. Especially if you served overseas.
As a parent, I agreed to "let" my daughter go, and serve in the Navy. Almost 40 years after I got out of the Army I get slapped with this topic. Daughter served almost 6 years. We've been working together on her VA claim for about half the year. I'm aware of the subject from back in the 80's. SMH. The effort to enact change is outrageously slow. As a Dad I say to all who have had this unfortunate experience, find a trusted person to share with. Steel your nerves and FIGHT! As a service member I WILL NOT allow my service member daughter to fail to get the much deserved and needed acknowledgement and compensation that is warranted. It's not easy and the pitfalls are deep. I see the positive changes in my adult daughter since working on gathering and being forced to share unimaginable details, all to a system that is still not prepared for the rude awakening. You were all trained to fight. It's time to awaken that feeling and use it for your own betterment. You are true survivors!
Thanks
Anger issues, hygiene issues, isolation, not wanting to leave the house, alienation from people, in general. All else things aren't normal? I never "got help" because I didn't want it "on my permanent record." Maybe it's not too late.
Not gonna lie, when I went for my PTSD c and p, I was really worried about being completely honest because I was paranoid about taking that mandatory 72 hour vacation where they give you the grippy socks.
😂❤I feel you
Wow... VA disability... the entire concept is ridiculous, these people are saying ptsd from something they literally volunteered for and signed up for. If you couldn't handle it why do you volunteer? Now you're a burden to society? Give me a break morons.
Wow! This hit how I feel. I also got 70% rated. This is a very good video.
I just put in a claim for PTSD a few days ago. I left active duty in 2012. I was a Scout in the Army did one deployment to Iraq in 2009-2010. Received my CAB (Combat Action Badge) never applied for PTSD didn't think I had it. Now I know all the issues I currently go through I have it. Since I'm barely applying will they make it hard for me to get awarded a %?
What about 0 rating
Mine happened in 1976 in a hospital by a Dr and i froze up in my C& P , because i didnt know the Dr and he was gay and that made me scared!
i'm going back in to see
It is deeper than that. Sergeant Major sleeps with female soldier. Female soldier reports it. Female soldier is harassed. Female soldier goes to behavior health in clinic. The command uses PD diagnosis as a weapon to chapter them out. Command washes their hands. This is actually a crime. A PD diagnosis would require an in-depth deep dive to establish such a diagnosis. The soldier is really suffering from anxiety and depression. Overtime this will develop into complex post traumatic stress syndrome. Observed this first hand.
I truly need someone to help me get a 70% or higher rating for my Husband! I have spent 4 yrs plus trying to get one for him. I am Handicapped in a wheelchair & constant pain & am his primary caregiver I don’t know how much longer I can go.
I have TDIU. I've asked several people if it is worth it to try for 100% permanent and total. What is your opinion?

What do you do when you C&P is favorable and they still giving you a problem.
Im having a hard time submitting the contact form..
I had my c&p exam today and the Dr. was easy going I answered my questions straight forward and didn't talk too much. He said he agreed with me having PTSD and he was going to put in the "remarks" that I need intensive inpatient care to help me deal with my PTSD? Has anyone ever had that at their exam?
Project 2025 will rob veterans and active duty troops of billions - Google it
how about getting symptoms after 20 years? I guess with age my mind is not that strong to suppress the memories anymore and I get many of those symptoms , can I still claim?
Yes Ive been out 20 years got 50% PTSD first time going for higher rating because I have suicide ideology I stay inside all day long 7 days a week
@parole2015 thank you for the response, I had my c&p exam yesterday morning and since they have most of my info in their system it was mostly questions about before and after my service which I was thankful for that because she read my statements and she didn't want me to repeat it, I was diagnosed with PTSD, and now just waiting for the rates.

I have been 100% P&T for 14 years and wanting to apply for secondary condition . My back and neck got worse and I’m 65 years old what should I do
I greatly appreciate this video. This was so eye opening. As a spouse of a vet I just wasn’t sure what in the world is going on. Thinking it was something I was always doing, but when trying to ask my husband he’d just clam up. This has really let me know some avenues I can take to help my husband. He’ll more than likely buck at the information, but this really tells me a lot of what is going on, and what I can hopefully do to help him, and our family. I’ve stuck it out for a few decades so I’ll just keep pushing through to get him the help he needs. Thank you so much.
How long after i expedite my claim does it take to get my claim thank you ?
Great video!
Can migraines cause TBI for SMC ,? Not sure if I said that right thank you
I had 2 c p exams for mental health and both said my problem started in service and my service file clearly says problems , and they still denied my claim , unbelievable , great video thanks
Yours is one of the more concise and to the point videos on the the BVA appeals hearing. Much said with fewer words.
Hello there.. just saw an old benefits denial letter from a claim i filed the month that i ETS'd 8/2001 and it shows I was claim knee and back issues... I forget why it was denied, but most likely i didnt make the C&P appt is because the process was over a year at that time and I had already moved out of state. OAN, I dont have my outpatient STRs only inpatient STRs because thats all national archives provided me... crazy part is VA is now saying I never complained about back pain in those days when clearly, I did. Maybe during those days they didnt have the, "you have up until 1 year to service connect injury rule"... I am still attempting to service connect with a nexus letter from a letter of intent filed 2/2023.... however, do you think that I can possibly win at the board of appeals to get the knees, back and dizziness back dated all the way to 8/2001? Your thoughts on that? My apologies on the length...
