Good golly, that's stout. I'm having a blast riding trails here in Bentonville on the gravel bike, sometimes the fixie. No MTB experience or background. But so stinkin' fun! Thanks for this. Inspirational!

Nice video! I rode Deadman Pass just recently (9/25/23). It was beautiful. Deadman Lookout is a historic fire watch tower, with fantastic panoramic views. I've never done Sand Creek Pass and would like to do it one day. Yes, CR69 is very steep (8.8%). I've climbed and descended on it. For me it's always easier to climb a steep gravel hill than to descend on it. I really dread steep gravel descents! And yes, Poudre is so long when you're descending it. It doesn't feel as long when you're climbing it. Buckhorn Canyon to Pennock Pass is one of my favorite roads. But the road gets damaged easily by flash flooding and it's always under repair.

I underbike fixed gear and people think im nuts. Amazing what you can pedal over with 28mm tires, no brakes and no freewheel. Riding slow and technical terrain with emphasis on bike handling skills is the way.

great vid! just a note for people going to Maryland: not all the trails are directional. there are 3 MTB only downhill only trails. the rest are multi-use and multi-directional. :)

Omg Jordyn I’m so proud of you! (Devin here). The footage was awesome, the editing was great, and I was so proud to see someone I “know” (since we still haven’t met in person 😂) doing something so difficult and crushing it. And kudos to Chase for being around on so many parts of the course to be able to cheer you on and get footage. Also, I gotta know about the cowbell inside joke at the end 😂

So glad you finally made this video! This is exactly what Joseph and I would have done before having 6 kids. But now instead it’s a 40 ft motorhome which a lot of people would say is too small still but whatever 😂
