My Atom is not growing. For every new leaf it grows, one dies. They turn yellow. I just checked the roots: they are healthy & the plant is not pot bound. Giving it more light has not helped.

If you so hate the sound of the gravel hitting the bottom of the jars...Why are you letting the rocks go from such a high distance? Tilt the jar so it's horizontal with the table, add the gravel, and return the jar to its upright position. Crisis averted. Or place a handful of rocks in a tea towel, lower the towel into the jar, and slide its content out. Or make a paper cone so you can funnel the gravel right in place. I mean...👀

I repotted my monstera and i made the mistake that i damaged some roots and did not let them dry bevor putting back to soil. Then - of course- roots got rotten. I checked on it and decidet to cut the rotten parts. I took it back into soil but its still very sad an hanging and leaving its downest leav. Maybe it has not enough roots now? Should i wait for root grow in the pot or should i take it out an put it in water so that it can regrow them roots fast? Help. I am so sorry for my Monstera. 😅

I went on vacation for a week and when I returned my monstera was looking very droopy and leaves were browning. A week later and she's lost a ton of her leaves, any tips?

My deliciosa grew slowly but steady. I repotted it a few weeks ago using soil mixture for aroids, even moved it closer to the window. The soil is humid but not overly soaked with water. Yet the plant looks droopy and sad. Any ideas what to do with it?

What the heck is Holup??? Also - You do not need to seal plants less than 1" in diameter, they grow roots fast enough that even if they do start to rot, you can just snip that part off and they will be fine. Sealing if used for more mature - larger stems. :(

Hi! thank you for the video. I have a similar problem with my monstera adonsonii. A lot of leaves (it's a very huge one) are like very "incosistent" and "faded" like they are weak, but don't seem to lack of water. I've noticed that the part not exposed directly to the sun (there are located and south, but there's no much light in winter - I'm in Italy - and that's not the first time I leave the plant there, actually it is always there in winter) is stronger and healthy and the part exposed directly to the sun seems to be weak. I really don't know what it's going on there, I could eventually overwatered it but it' a really huge and messy pot so I'm still waiting to check directly inside the terrain to check the moist... do you ever noticed something like this?

I got a baby Monstera Aurea from a local nursery mixed in with non-variegated monsteras last winter. This summer I went to repot it in better soil and split it from the non-variegated plants, but within a week it had root rot🥺 Ever since June, I’ve been trying to save its final two leaves. Someone told me sphagnum moss only so I did that and it’s leaves have been curled up like a taco ever since. 3 days ago I decided I wanted to water propagate it but didn’t want to risk further rotting… so I sealed it with tea light wax! For the first time since June, the leaves are back to being flat and happy!! I’m hoping it was dry enough for me to seal, but it’s my final attempt to save it😅 Thank you for this video as I didn’t know if I had to remove the seal! ETA: I also threw activated charcoal pieces in the water to keep trying to avoid rot!

I just got mine about two weeks ago and it felt overwatered when I bought it(really heavy)... i had left it outside overnight and woke up to a storm so I ran out and saved it, but it definitely got a good soak in the process. Opened up two new leaves within a few days and they looked good but recently have gotten pretty droopy and had a lot of “tears” I’m worried it’s gonna turn to browning 😓😓 and one baby leaf turned yellow and I plucked it off.. should I check the roots and change the soil?! It’s been 10ish days and the soil is still pretty wet :/ any input would be appreciated!!!
