What is Self Care?
มุมมอง 923 ปีที่แล้ว
Hello, everyone! It's been a while, and we are very sorry about that. We moved across the country and then were dealing with personal things and getting settled. Since this video was filmed, Hattie (a fictive/persecutor), Rosie (trauma holder), and Kai (host) integrated, as well as two littles, and a fragment and protector. Our 'alter count' is now 31. As stated in this video, we are doing okay...

The people here in the comments have went thru *veryyyyy* bad stuff
Pleased to meet all of you! all the best on your DID journey ❤
Good video. I am late diagnosed autistic with previous diagnosis of BPD and Major Depression and Mood Disorder. I have recently been diagnosed with CPTSD. I suspect I may also have some kind of dissociative disorder but am taking my time exploring and careful of what content I view and like to look at the latest science on the subject and listen to people like yourself and professionals in the field. I am aware of overlap of conditions and misdiagnosis. Interestingly there is a history of both autism and mental health conditions on both sides of my family. I am planning on seeking professional evaluation when I have done more research and am in a position to do so.
This was really helpful. I am late diagnosed autistic and recently diagnosed CPTSD. I experience a lot of dissociation symptoms and am educating myself about various types of dissociation disorders. I previously had BPD diagnosis which never felt right.
This help us alot, very validating. Thank you❤
I hate to say this because it is a yet another depressive thing that you know people say they hate to say it but it's like maybe you're going through what I go through and sometimes I feel bummed out because it feels like somebody else achieved whatever milestones I achieved and I don't really get to be there for them someone else does and so it's like someone else did that someone else rode the bike someone else did this someone else did that it's like f****** who cares anymore
Happy belated birthday! I found out that I have something like what's going on with you. Sometimes I feel like all of these people that I have neural networks of are just all the people who stood around with their fingers up their ass and never helped me when I was a child and that I somehow thought that they were better than the abuser that maybe they would have saved me but in reality they're part of the army and the neighbors that left me there. So whenever I don't channel one of their voices and I have an off-key voice I know it's just me and I'm not channeling and then I'm loving my voice more than anything because listen to the people in Hollywood they are certainly channeling. And as we know there's a horrible history to how they do it and so I think having an off key voice means you're not a piece of s***
maybe a bad question (and it may be that my English skills are not the same while I am/ we are writing bc our main language in our system isn't English): How did you count these numbers? Did you write down all those names/ description names with sometimes just the age? Is there someone in the system who keeps track of everyone on the inside? Bc ... we tend to go like "oh, a new name? Is it a new alter? Okay ... next topic please" and there was a time in therapy, where we should write down every hour "who is there" and sometimes there were names the front team didn't knew - and sometimes those new names came in pairs or more ... but as long as I know we are currently with the known number in the 50s ... but I myself am not able to enter the inner world for the most part, just some tiny spots on one island ... so there may be more alters in the inner world ...
<3!
Vegemite’s from Australia. It is disgusting. Yuck!
No dont self diagnose.
Some people might not be able to get diagnosed though , for example im a minor so there is a rare chance of me getting diagnosed . And in some countries they might not be able to afford it
We are very late to this but we are planning to get tested when we are older because we are a minor and this was very helpful thank you so much!
We actually have 3600 alters
is there any chance to meet you ?
this girl on the left side you are the most beautiful and wonderful being that exists the stars gave your eyes all the glow
Hi Kai&Co I want ask you do you maybe be in Poland or you know somebody from Poland ?
Dandelion and Burdock is apparently similar to what Americans call root beer, although I've never tried American root beer so I can't compare. Dr Pepper also initially tried to get the recipe from Dandelion and Burdock to produce its own variation. I love it!
red fruit flavoured lol - talk about being vague
Burdock is a root from the liquorice family
I'd love to know what you're eating for a sherbert lemon to taste like tyres. They are lemon and sugar with citric acid
The UK has very strict food regulations so we use more natural flavours, colours and preservatives and far less sugar 😀
When you were checking out Tizer online, I suspect you read past one article and into another, when you came out with "it's the best selling soft drink in Scotland" because Tizer, though popular throughout the UK, certainly isn't the most popular soft drink in Scotland: that title is indisputedly held by "Barrs Irn Bru".
We're polyfrag and a sra survivor (I as an alter prefer the term 'systematic ritual abuse' to 'S*tanic ritual abuse' due too stigma and accuracy to how it actually is vs the sensationalized view of how it works) but thank you for acknowledging our experinces, we just subbed 😊
Can u exsplain fushion a bit more
Also would it be classified as a self diagnosis of pollyfragmented did if I was diagnosed with complex mpd when I was younger?
I got diagnosed with complex mpd when I was younger im now doing research properly I refused to belve my diagnosis for years and now I'm doing some research on this disoder and this really help so much Alos is there a way to help thes alters to develop interests ?? Like if we descover a new alter if the front more would they Beable to develop and can you speak about from splitipliting from hormones which is a positive thing right dose that mean you can split from over positive emotions anyway this was super helpful thank you
People shouldn't be self diagnosing. It can be very harmful even if you have your own degree.
It's completely fine aslong as you've done intensive research and are certain you have it. Ik some toxic people in the autism community say it's bad and I used to believe them but I learned it's not and sometimes people litterally can't get the diagnosis due to medical bills
You have to bite the head off of the jelly babies and eat it first before you eat the rest. Jaffa Cakes are round and flat like a flying saucer you can get other flavours as well now. Dandelion and Burdock wine is nice. you are not allowed to grow blackcurrants in the USA.
Holy shitballs ribena straight shots 😂
we didnt know to dilute it 😂
You're so cool
Thank you ❤️
You've never had anyrhing English??? So you've never had skittles, kitkats, starburst? ..... Shall I continue with the list 😂
Hello!!! Im Oliver the host of our system and i was wondering if we could be able to exchange discords because we do not have instagram or a way to make one atm and we woudl really love to talk and be friends possibly!!
Unfortunately we don't have discord 😕 We do also have twitter and facebook though, if you want to contact us that way!
Before Coke and Pepsi were available in the UK Vimto and Tizer dominated the softy drink market. Lucozade on the other hand was considered a drink if you did not feel well and was available at the pharmacy not general stores. .
Oh, thank you for the information!
The custard creams are best dunked in tea or coffee.
So I've heard! Thank you :)
Also, thank you for posting this. Sending hugs
❤️❤️❤️
“Having things thrown at you” I remember asking “it’s normal right?” And my fitness all said “no, that’s abuse” and my heart just sank… I thought it was just idk a part of life I guess… he almost punched me in the face, barely stopped himself. I felt it, and I think that’s when it finally sunk in…. I thought it was just rape and other sexual abuse, I thought maybe it was just emotional or financial… it didn’t realize it was physical too. It’s been tough carrying this realization. Just know, anyone who reads this, it’s not your fault and you’re far more valuable and lovable than you or someone you know may realize. You will get through; you are strong. And you will be okay ❤️
I'm so sorry you've experienced those things. You're so very strong and I hope you never go through that again. I also hope you've been able to find some healing. We are sending lots of love your way ❤️
Drunk on Suger😂
😂
VEGEMITE IS AUSTRALIAN MARMITE IS BRITISH
Yes, thank you for the information.
irn bru is the most popular soft drink in scotland
That's really neat!
How come theres always s british one?
I'm not sure what you mean.
We have one.Her name is Emily ❤
@@MommaMeow23 Tacky.
She looks like Harry Potter!
Who?
@@kaico9585 dont tell me you never heard of harry potter. the famous wizard from the children's book series by JK Rowling
No haha we love harry potter. I was just asking if you meant us in general or one of us specifically.
Thank you and God bless you.
Ur supposed to dunk custard creams in tea
Thanks for the information!
Sensible advice, thank you.
Of course. Thank you for your comment ❤️
i really think your hair is cool
Thank you!
National center for analysis of violent crime ❤️ I wanted to work there too, but couldn't also because of my mental illness.
Yeah! It's really frustrating but ultimately for the better good. Having a lapse in judgement on the field could cause a lot of harm. People like us are needed elsewhere ❤️
Watching this really helped me. Do you know why you do that with your hands while dissociating?
To be honest I didn't really notice I did it until you pointed it out, but it is to help with grounding! The sensation of squeezing and shaking is great for grounding. If you have a partner/friend you can do hand squeezing with them as a grounding technique. Thanks for asking! Great question.
Shandy is simply beer with added lemonade, can be either Bitter or lager. Also, as a Brit. I totally agree on the pickled onions, just the smell is enough to make you gag.
Thanks for the info! Yeah, it was nasty 🥴
At last, a US reaction video where the participants actually read the ingredients! Kudos.
Hahaha thanks
Alcohol laws are much more relaxed here in the UK, for England and i guess most of if not all of the UK it's 18 to buy alcohol in shops and at clubs and pubs etc as well as to drink in premises such as pubs and clubs, with an exception that if you're 16 or 17 an adult can buy you a beer, glass of wine or a cider as long as it's with a cooked meal. But the most crazy thing is that if you're at home, or any other private premises you can drink from the age of 5 years old, but it's obviously not encouraged or advised, but it does mean for example that it would be perfectly legal for Charlie or Charley (not sure how she spells it) to drink alcohol at home or yours/parents or whatever if living here :)
Yeah, America is very strict about smoking and drinking laws!
Looks like your chocolate bars (candy bars) were kept too cool, especially the Lion bar
They were cold, yeah.
@@kaico9585 thought so that's the problem, most chocolate isn't great when cold, room temperature is great and sometimes we even stick some in the microwave for a few seconds, just to make the centre gooey :)
