You food looks the absolute BEST!!! It takes me back to Mama Liberia 🇱🇷 ❤
Yummy, thanks 👍
This is awesome! I’m going to make this for my daughter’s adoption anniversary this week. Thank you!
Some of you young women are not mindful about the salt content in your sauces.. The old folks used to cook without salt and still have tasty meals.
What seasons are you using
It looks perfect and delicious dear.
This is a very long way of cooking it
Please share other shorter ways to make this😊
Now I’m craving this 🔥🤤
I’m making this today
Yes indeed!!
What is the reason for the soda please?
The soda adds a unique flavor to it and it also gives the soup a more softer texture and taste
Thank you so much
Very well cooked young lady ❤
Thank you so much 😊
@@itsmrsj2223Demmit i finally made the stingy Oldma wanna spend 😂
I need that oil
I need a car to get that stuff
Haha you are welcome 😂😂
What😂
You didn't put anything in the cassava leaf to soften it?😮
You clearly did not watch the entire video or even the beginning of it because if you did, you would have seen that I did add in some peanut butter to soften it. Please watch carefully next time before commenting😊
PERFECTLY PREPARED
I always wash my cassava leaf because some have sand, I learn that the hard way lol
Remember we both purchased our cassava leafs from different vendors. If your vendor/S sold you or sells you cassava leafs with sand, mine hasn't sold me one with sand for the last 3-4 years I've been buying from them which is why I don't wash mine. I buy the most smoother and very clean Cassava leafs unlike the ones that other people buys and then have reblend it or do some extra work on it which is why I chose to stick to buying it from Just one vendor when I discovered the vendor was good. Again, please be mindful when commenting on people's post especially if they are not cooking for you to eat it😊
Trying it today! Thank you
You are welcome 😊
Why are putting in soda on cassava leave
I think that's the Liberian way. I'm from Congo and sierra Leone and both countries also cook cassava leaves. I prefer the Congolese version, it's a complete BOMB delicious 🤤. Different countries different flavours 👍🏿
@@OnesoulfirstorderTwolifetimesI'm from Sierra Leone-but don't like the Congolese cassava leaves
Love palm butter soup and fufoo
It's a very delicious soup😊
Indigenous Montagnard Jarai Bahanar we eat cassava leaves for centuries
Yummy 🤤
😊😊
what is Maggie cubes?
It's a seasoning you cook with food
Vous mettez trop de cube cela n'est pas rassurant pour la santé
Exactly, if the beef stock was well spiced, she wouldn't need so much cubes, she also added powdered stock.😮
Can you pls make breakfast with cassava, plantains fish gravy/ stew etc .😊 thanks.
Yes, I will when I resume posting again😊
Looks Delicious 🤤 YUMMY 🤤 THANK YOU 💋
Thank you😊
Where did you get the pot from?
From the African store
Hello beautiful please is the baking powder the same kind for baking?! Thank you ! ❤
Hello dear no, it's not the same thing as the baking powder. The name of the soda is “Bicarbonate De Soude Raffine.” just google the name to see how it looks. You can find it in an African market
Looking good
Thank you
Hello what is the soda for? And what kind of soda? Baking soda?
The soda gives the soup a different taste
Looking very good thanks sis
Thanks for this my mom always make this I wanted to know how to
You are welcome😊
Where do you buy the smoked turkey neck from?
From the Asian market
Looks so delicious thank you
I love the way you make everything simple you will be a best teacher😊
Thank you!😊
Palm oil or Torboghee Oil doesn’t understand.
Torborgee oil
It the same palm oil
@@hassatukamara4494 ah okay 👍
You didn't show what all you blended and you did not remove the chicken feet.
Lady J, please rewatch the video. everything that was used is shown in the video with their names mentioned in the video especially the blended ingredients. It was my preference not to remove the chicken feet but you can remove yours if you want to. Thanks😊
Where Can you buy these ingredients.
You can get them at your local African store depending where you live at
Why lemon pepper??
Because it's what I prefer to use as one of my seasonings
But does it taste like?
Do you mean what does it tastes like?
@@itsmrsj2223 palm butter. Is it salty? Is it spicy? Is it earthy?
@@erikasantiago5800 it tastes like food lol and I don't think anyone likes salty food. So, no it's not salty. And yes, it's spicy because I eat a lot of spices.

Okay, I will make it happen if I can find some in the market or stores.

Too much spices i wonder why ?
Everyone in my household eats a lot of spices that's why.
Flavor 😒
Too much spices you are going to make people sick
At least you would not be one of the people that I'll make sick! Just because you do not eat spices doesn't mean everyone is like you, but thanks for your comment even though it wasn't necessary. Good day😃
Mtchewww you are watching a liberian person make liberian food it requires different spices.
It the right way ..no one will gets sick
Bro what?😭
Please go and eat banana 🍌, It's not spicy. We Liberians, we love spicy food.
Thanks my dear
You welcome dear
ooh my gosh all this spices is a no no, eii asem b3n ni 😢
You put the spices that you can handle as stated in the video because everyone doesn't eat the same amount of spices

New subscriber from Jamaica 🇯🇲 I do have a praise palmnut cream concentrate but all those dried meats in Jamaica they don't dry meats ,only salted herring and salted makerel
I’m pretty sure any meat you like you can use it doesn’t have to be dried
You can use any meat. The soup will still have a good flavor and taste to it
What's the essence of the sodas?
The soda adds a certain taste to the soup
