    FYI immediately after the glorified thunderstorm you try to call a hurricane that wasn't one by any actual real measurements of past storms...it was nothing more than a popcorn farther in the wind ...it was the greedy maniacs out with chainsaws and winches tearing or cutting down trees to claim "Jewish lightning " just to scam nsurance claims ..seen the crap first hand as a actual first responder I had internet television immediately when power was restored not 24 hrs after the thunder storm ...then poof the fckery of the incompetent pole monkeys vscrewed everything up but disconnecting uninterrupted areas like ours now it's been 4 days still don't have damn service and what do we the coustomer get in compensation when our lively hoods are being jeopardized while our education is being interrupted Goose egg zero zilch nada except some propaganda and rhetoric written bu a stupid chat bot

    This is total propaganda stop acting lines up poles Stat digging ditches and running lines though water tight conduit under ground America is not some third wold country....your teams are lazy and severely overpaid if we the coustomer are a minute late with a payment you'll fip a switch and shut them off ..you certinally don't give a rats asa about actual customers especially long time customers..I had time Warner before you sucked them up had amazing coustomer support and cheap as hell prices every year you try to bleed coustomers dry by price jacking and throttling/ bottlenecks connections. On a price Tage now when we try to call to speak to a live human we are forced to trudge though a mountain of garbage and rhetoric by a stupid bot that refuses to connect to support that is almost all outsourced to some third world country for the exploitation of their cheap labour just so yo can make the stock holders more rich with the ungodly monopoly you hold

    I lost power only for one day and internet never went out until 7/13 until this time no internet, Will switch to AT&T on Monday morning

    Still no internet and no ETA for service being restored in Acres Homes. It's been nearly 2 weeks of no service and nearly 1 week without any updates.

    Straight bs ive been without internet in 77583 since 7/8, they offered hotspots that don't work, fake repair dates promising a fix on 7/13 and 7/15 which never happened. Overall Xfinity/Comcast has and continues to disappoint the Houston Community.

    No they haven’t. I never lost power and my internet went out two days ago. If 99 percent of people have power why do i not have internet??? If comcast says 98 percent have internet why do i not have internet???

    Half my small neighborhood has internet. Highly doubt it's a power concern upstream due to that. No ETA no estimates, no trucks anywhere around - this is some utterly glacial restoration, and shows that there are quite a few single points of failure throughout the network if we can't even be rerouted in the same neighborhood. Outage map hasn't changed in three days here. Ridiculous. Found out frontier will deliver to my area, will be all too happy to cut the cord here. Frontier coworkers sure seem to be set already.

    I think this may be the only team in the Houston area working to fix any problems. As more and more people’s power is restored what will be your next excuse? 36% of your customer base has been restored is terrible. Your horrendous customer service and lack of any real update is sad. You should stop filming and interviewing the only team it seems you have working and pickup some tools. Hopefully once things are back to normal and people get back to everyday life they don’t get “comfortable” again and forget about your lack of respect for the people who pay you.

      I don't know, comcast/xfinity has horrible communication and their outage map still shows "restored-as soon as possible and under investigation". No updates, nothing and if you call customer service to get an update they will block you from talking to a live person. This is unacceptable and I'll be switching. I'm also in cypress.

    I was told by an in store xfinity rep that it's not really "unlimited," you have unlimited data within a 4-hour block of time starting from when the outage occurred. So, if you still have power, but your internet line gets damaged in a storm, you won't have unlimited data for days, it's just 4 hours total, per outage incident. So this product is useless for me. We had a bad ice storm and a tree fell on our cable line. we still have power, but have been without internet for going on a week now.

      I’m in a power outage right now. Regular Comcast cable Internet lasted about 6 to 8 hours after the power went out with my back up generator running. After that Internet service was swapped over to storm ready Wi-Fi via Verizon. Speeds are less than a megabyte per second download and the activation process was a nightmare. I stayed up until 10 AM to get this equipment activated. I talked to three separate customer service representatives, none of which could actually help me. I let it sit for a couple hours, and it magically started working. The thing is nothing but headaches.

    Did 6 years. One deployment to Afghanistan; 13 months long. 12 months, three weeks, four days, to be exact. Over those six years, dislocated both shoulders, displaced my left hip, had a floating rib on the right side, broken bones on both hands and both feet, multiple concussions, fractured sternum, collapsed layer in my left eye, tinnitus. Every person who died on my deployment had a family, wife, kids. I was a single 21-year-old and made it home. Seeing their kids grow up without them is heart-breaking, and it makes you wonder why a person like me with no wife or kids got to come back home. I think about how horrible it is that my friends' last memories were in a shit-hole. I think about their families being forced to learn to live a different life that doesn't include their loved ones. You start wondering if that person you almost shot but didn't, is the dude who walked into your patrol with a suicide vest on a week later and killed your friends. You can go to some dark, dark places if you sit down and think about that stuff. People get really uncomfortable when you get into details about this stuff, but if the combat vets are discouraged from speaking about it, that tension builds and they can feel like their sacrifices aren't even appreciated by others.
