I realize that they read RPM but can they just be used as an adjustable strobe light? I'm looking for a strobe light between 0-100hz.

Can it be used to measure compressed air flow and pressure? If so then how?

Thank you for the video. When we start to approach higher pressures, say 0.1 to 0.2 in WC, what would you recommend for the "orientation" of the pitot tube. Would we always want to try to position the tube vertically?

These came with my new 88 dmm and they were defective new! Touched together they had a resistance of almost 6 ohms. Called Fluke and was told that it is past the warranty period so tough luck. So much for quality!

I just bought and returned this meter. It will not read 3 phase. Be carful. An isolated 3 phase will not pick up a ground reference.

I can only wish they make a special Asian version just like how they make the Fluke 101 for the Asian market. The TL175 is way too expensive to be affordable here in Asia that I could buy another Fluke 101 and still have a significant balance to keep.

So the LOG function only works when connected to a phone (not stand-alone)? What about clearing the memory on the meter? This function should have far more detail in the manual than it does.

Unless your some God, these are a rip off. We can find breakers faster shutting of the residential panel faster and more RELIABLE than this $1000 trash that 9/10 never ID's the correct breaker. Sure we trace a few wires with it big deal but its cat and mouse a guess game 99% of the time. I dont recommend only for a great tax deduction is all its good for. its a very very weak tool. maybe at $200 just to play with because all your really doing with it is experimenting EVERY TIME you use it because its sure a hit and miss 99% of the time.I (*f A homeowner bought this it would short his brain out and he would die instantly) because our electricians want to smash them with their kliens to death , then commit suicide after using it for 2/8 hours and getting no where. We call it THE $1500 CRYSTAL BALL TESTER.

Can it work on automobile for tracing wire, open wire, or short?

I've been through 3 sets of these because there are bad connections where the wire goes into the probe where the strain relief is located. The resistance readings on my meter will show anywhere between 1-12 ohms and will vary when I bend the wire at the strain relief.

In Mexico most residencies have no ground connected to the electric outlets, would this still work? What about concrete walls? It works on live circuits?

I have one of these, do you know if they are water resistant? Sometimes I take mine outside in the rain and it does seem to measure the temperature fine, but I'm not exactly sure if that's a good idea... mine takes a while to stabilise sometimes depending on the environment it was in before.
