Yes it depends how big your tank is as they will do a fantastic job cleaning your rockscape just make sure once they have eaten all the hair algae substitute there food so they don't starve

thanks for fast reply. i have been battling them for MONTHS. UV did nothing. dosing silicates did nothing. Dr tims and a blackout did nothing but slow them temporarily. im finally resorting to dino X. i know its gonna kill all my copepods, but as long as it works and doesnt kill my corals ill be happy. im glad youre a success story. the bottle says at night but on their website they recommend doing a 2 day blackout on first dose. but i would prefer not too. ill probably under dose like you did. in your video you made it sound like after 3 days you saw good results. but it took 2 weeks? @@christiancorals816

It will take time to settle in but I got rid of it inbthe end as I got a better one in the end

No you can add turbo start 1st then add couple of fish and your good to go don't need to add ammonia if you not got any fish you can ghost feed

@casualcrybaby I waited for couple of days but you can add fish straight away but leave your lights off while your cycling as it will cut down on the dirty stage

Was in the tank over 3 weeks but since I move it with not to much flow it's starting to open now

its a really nice colour will look stunning when it grows

If it just set up then turn it to flow for 2 hrs then turn it back to drain but once set up I only turn it on for 5 minutes then run it normal

To make ro water put it drain

@aggzish not a problem mate if you have it with the tds meter make sure it's at 0 tds

The blue pipe is your ro water red is wasted water and white is to connect to tap

I get 75%water pressure I can get 100 gallon a day as that's what ro I use do you have a tds meter and whats it reading on your ro unit and do you have a flush valve as you need to flush it for 2 hrs before using

I’m getting 3 bar on pressure gauge. Yes I got tds meter that came with it. 370 tds from tap!! Coming out 18 tds then after di resin 0 now! I bought a second tds meter to get this reading. So your getting 7.5 bar pressure reading is that what your saying?

Oh and yes I have flush valve as well and put a turn off tap on the di resin to turn off when I flush.

@Jason Remick iam getting 75 % water on mine and you should be getting more water than that I can fill up 100 littres in about 1 hr 15 minutes

@Jason Remick the reason your getting 370 tds from the tap u need to flush it for 1 hr and your tds will drop

Only dose once first thing in the morning when your lights about to turn on and make sure you have good water agitation at surface this stuff will drop your oxygen levels and if its not gone after 24 hours dose again once its gone do a 25% water change and good to go but if you have a skimmer just let you no it will go nuts and over skimmer mine went back to normal after 4 hours hope this helps mate

Well got up this morning and it's nearly all gone gonna leave it till tomorrow morning before I water change left light on moon all night to get it to multiply more I have a 600 Gallan skimmer psk4.0 s pump I took cup off left wave pumps on all night it's made the LP's puff up booming maybe they had a bit of cyano bacteria in them might try some myself clear this bad chest 🤣

If you still have it still there I would dose again and wait another 24 as that stuff will get rid of it you shouldn't see any of it

@@christiancorals816 I was dosing zelements nitro plus because my nitrates dropped to 0.5ppm and started losing acros and pocalapora and birds nest so I panicked wished I would have left it anyway should I hold off on water changes till I stopped dosing or do a water change in-between doses

Only do the water change once you have finished the dose

@@christiancorals816 the guy I bought it off says let it run till cyano gone then water change even if it is longer than 24 hrs I use tropic Marin reef Pro salt costs a fortune

@@christiancorals816 oh ok cool, I was like 😬 idk how well that'll work out for ya 😆 Thry make a great nem tank for a pair of clowns but not much room to escape for more then that

I just use turbo start and ammonia and after 24 hrs just keep testing for a week I cycle mine after 9 days hope this helps
