Might be a very niche question but why do some older movies like 2004(ish) period looks really grainy, but some don't, is it the editing or the camera quality?
Love that you answered my err....odd question! I'll settle for that answer! Love catching up tonight guys, brilliant stuff!
These really are awesome 👌🏻 😅🎉 I don't appreciate u slagging off the beautiful Sprout, nothing tastier! I'm off to watch Die Hard 🤭
I'm loving the series so far, looking forward to the next episode! My question is: since dinosaurs are reptiles, and birds are dinosaurs, does that mean birds are actually reptiles?
Question: Why does the size and look of the male appendage vary so much, it seems to not follow any standard ratio of height or weight to the ding dong size
Why aren't hybrid and electric cars fitted with dynamos on the wheels, so the car can generate some of it's own electricity to power itself?
If the universe is 13.8 billion years old, how can the observable universe have a radius of 46.5 billion lightyears. How can light be reaching us from so far away, when the universe hasn't existed long enough for the light to travel from the object to us. Which doesn't take into account the stars we're observing wouldn't have formed immediately after the big bang but after millions of years. I'm not sure if this has been worded in a way that makes sense, hopefully you can help, this has been racking my brain for years.
Hello Darragh and Dylan, I would like to know why humans (and dolphins I think?) are the only animals that have intercourse for pleasure. Love the pod and merry Christmas/happy new year!
Definitely need some better sound insulation guys, really love the idea of the pod tho, Darragh is amazing
Who else came here after listening to one of the ‘On this day in history’ video
Why do our jaws chatter when we are cold
Just like rubbing your hands together, the contracting muscles moving over and over generate warmth. It’s not just the jaw. It’s your body in general, it shakes to generate heat, to cause warm blood to flow through your body and warm you up over time
Proving that Christmas is periodic.
This is class keep it up boys will be a huge podcast soon, love that they’re only 20 mins too podcasts are usually way too long it’s inconvenient
You guys have a festive Christmas. See you in the New Year with more amazing explanations to weird questions.
So he goes to a Christmas party... so if you remove the party then he would not be there? Also is Home Alone a Christmas movie because again if you take away everything to do with Christmas it would still work. 😂your argument has a lot of holes in it.
So if that is the criteria, what about Home Alone?
Die hard is definitely not a Christmas film you're right but I'm pretty sure the lion the witch and the wardrobe is deffo a world war 2 film 😂 /s
Such a good episode! Now I know Father Christmas is from turkeye (I can’t spell it ignore that 😂)
Who invented the ouija board? And how would they know it would work?
How does the placebo effect work?
How do they know what animals can see ? We can’t exactly ask them
I am loving this series.
I guess this is slightly building up from the 4th question asked in this episode. But why is it that people lose hair on their head as they get older, whereas the amount of hair on other parts of their body tends to stay the same?
How long does it take for a significant evolutionary change?
How close are scientists to finding a cure for cancer?
Crap explination, might as well said its full of the hopes and dreams of quibblebits and their struggle for rights in the gaggleverse.
why do stars flash in the sky
This could open a whole can of worms, but how likely do you think simulation theory is true?
Why can’t you go to space with a broken bone?
Limerickquick here. Great idea this… half an hour flies by. So… what makes glue sticky.
Loving these! I feel so much smarter 🙌😂
Humans aren't considered livestock so human milk is not considered "safe" for public consumption. Farms vaccinate and monitor the health of cows that they milk. So they can sell cows milk but human milk is unregulated.
This just moved the question into goats and sheep
This just moves the question onto the goat
What's the deciding factor in when we will stop growing in height?
Genetics and also where you’re born factors in too. People whose ancestors would’ve needed to be taller tend to be taller and people whose ancestors didn’t tend to be smaller. But it’s also about nutrition during vitro and how much growth hormone your pituitary gland produces. Some people have a deficiency of growth hormones and therefore are shorter, and some have a very over active pituitary gland and are therefore taller.
Why do we have one nose that leads down to windpipe, but two holes in nose?? What's the point?
Why are feet bigger than hands?
Awesome episode as per 🎉 loved watching here!
Why doesn’t Guinness travel well and why is it so important to pour it correctly?
Watching stupid people try to comprehend intelligence is very funny.
What makes us decide if something smells good or bad?
What makes us decide if something smells good or bad?
Essentially by past experiences our brains learn by inhaling molecules and files them into bad or good experiences so that any future smells that we attribute to good or bad will be assigned an appropriate response
What makes us decide if something smells good or bad?
Is we have 2 eyes how do we see 1 image so clearly?
My question - is handedness genetic?
Great podcast guys! Looking forward to more episodes!
