One of the best albums out there! 🇮🇪❤🇲🇽
This is lovely and I own the album. We are all familia.
Gorgeous video, greetings from Arizona.
Han hade passat in här. R.I.P Paddy Moloney
Honey toes.......i love you ❤❤❤
*_in case anyone wonders why Irish MP's like Clare "F'ing" Daly and Mick Walkace, most of the Irish govt, Irish rooted football clubs like Celtic and Irish artists boycotting the MIC sponsored SXSW festival are so vehement in supporting the Palestinian people, look no further than this piece of history - the country of my ancestors also had to resist illegal occupation and oppression! Erin Go Bragh! FREE PALESTINE!!!_* 💪☘️❤️🔥🫡🇮🇪🤝🇵🇸
Wonderful documentary that captures the past through world renowned modern artists~
We are so grateful to Ireland. You have brothers and sisters here in México. And this is your home, you help us to defend it.
Maravillosa!
God rest your soul Paddy Maloney.. You have done so much for Irish music.. You are an IMMENSE loss to us all.. Rest in Peace dear Paddy.. Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís.. 🕊️☘️🇮🇪
As long as it wasn’t filmed/made in texas … I’m cool with it. Fuck traitors 🖕🏻💯 Mexican til the end.
☘🇮🇪🇲🇽☘🎼🎼🎼
More music and less political pontificating please. If you dont believe in Walls or boundaries then leave your door open ALL the time!
go back to your sewer.
@@billpowers1485 That was Brilliant...do you live in the sewer DemonRAT?
Irish and Mexican people are the last people people on earth who should be complaining about America.
God Will Deal With USA For Leaving Afgan In The Hands Of The Evil One. Big Coward Army.
All in all, an entertaining, informative and inspirational video. However, the beginning title is misleading in that it calls the San Patricios "conscripts." They were not draftees but regularly enlisted soldiers.
Well I watched that with a huge smile on my face. Thank you.
Fantástica reposição da História.
Some day soon a tall bronze, stone or copper statue will be erected on the borderline n honor of the most important man Ry Cooder, the man of justice for the downtrodden, the most amazing music and the most excellent storyteller, yes Ry Cooder.
Saludos desde California and the son of an Irish emigrant to America. Very proud of Los San Patricio's who fought for Mexico against the same anglo imperialism occupying Ireland. In San Francisco we an Irish-Mexico association where we honor and celebrate them annually as well as each others cultures. Viva Mexico y Erin go Bragh!
We got a lot in Commons, for crying out loud, even the flags!
Borders define where their laws end and ours start. How TF do u think the San Patricios knew where to go when they chose to not kill fellow Catholics? The San Patricios chose to fight for Mexican soil for a reason, idiots. Nations aren't a "myth." You are the mythmakers! Using Mex music to rewrite history is really sad.
The infamous American history has always ignored The Saint Patrick Battalion, the San Patricios are considered traitors for the US Army, but we the people who hate the injustice in the world and condemn the imperialism recognize the San Patricios like heroes, they heard the call of their conscience to fight the tyranny from an invasor army, to fight on the Mexican side, Viva Irlanda!! Viva Mexico!!
Not all of those guys were deserters from the U.S. Army. There were many Irish who came to Mexico because they were not welcome here due to their Catholic faith and the discrimination which followed. Many of them were Patricios too.
Ry's comments on borders are even more relevant today. Never forget the San Patricios y viva Mexico.
❤💚❤💚❤💚❤excelente
gilberto..go raibh mile mhaith agat. slan leat. suas eire agus mexico.
Erin go Bragh! Viva Irlanda, cabrones
This album is fantastic and the story of this moment in history should be spread!
I got the album in a Starbucks in California. It’s beautiful
Wonderful documentary on an enduring album that I treasure ! I met an actual San Patricio, descended from those gallant men , here in Miami ! He actually wore the uniform of the brigade .
jonathan.......i understand how he felt greetings from ireland.
Viva los San Patricios! 🇲🇽 🇮🇪
josue....viva los san patricios viva mexico agus ireland, we fought like brothers. greetings from ireland.
Erin go brag & viva Mexico, viva Ireland, long live the sister nations!
Long live the catholic faith
Love it!
Just listening to the Album, and had to check this song out. Had no idea of it, great stuff.
You don't an idea on how much I enjoyed this video: the history, the music, the dances, my roots. And I mean it in two ways: first, I'm a Mexican born guy assn second I used to live by the former Convento de Churubusco, at the Mártires Irlandeses street, so somehow I heard the Irish stories and enjoyed its legacies. Now, having moved across the border, I'm part of the diaspora who takes its Mexican and Irish memories with pride and a touch of nostalgic.
cesar bazan............mhaith an fear.........good man.
woww hermosooo!!!
