In this episode I visit Ammarnäs in the Swedish mountains together with my son. We set up a base camp and do day hikes for three days. The goal is to photograph the beautiful landscape in autumn colors.

The Epic Lofoten - Road Trip 2024

In this episode I visit Lofoten again after 3 years. I was there in the middle of July, an extremely touristy period. All the usual visiting points were cluttered with lots of tourists which made the experience somewhat difficult. I chose to visit and photograph the slightly less visited places. Anyway, Lofoten is epically beautiful!

A short film from my road trip to Senja (Norway) this summer. Even though it was high season for tourism, it wasn't actually that crowded. In the film, I hike up to Segla and Husfjället, among other things. Senja is epic!

The first road trip of the year went along the beautiful wilderness road. For four days I traveled the distance between the small village of Stalon in Västerbotten County to Gädde in Jämtland County and back. I had time to visit Hällingsåfallet, Brakkåfallet, Fiskonfallet, Dimforsen and climb two easier peaks on Stekenjokk. #vildmarksvägen #wildernessroad #stekenjokk

Desperate to hike a bit, I headed down to Skuleskogens National Park. I came down the night before, slept in my mini camper and had a long and very beautiful day in the national park. At the higher altitudes, there was a lot of snow left, which made it a bit challenging.

This April I went with my friend to Hemavan, a small village up in the Swedish mountains. We skied about 10 km up to Viterskalet's mountain hut. The idea was to do some off-piste for three days, but the weather effectively put an end to that idea. Strong wind, a lot of rain and really wet snow. A perfect weekend to chill in the mountain cabin instead.

In this episode I took a walk down by the Umeå River early February. I was hoping that the light during the sunset would be as epically beautiful like the day before. It was freezing cold (-25°C) and everything stopped working (including myself) except for my DJI Osmo Action 4. This action camera works exceptionally well in the cold.

@@mikaellarsson5459 nja, den är inredd i all sin enkelhet. en slags soff/säng med förvaringsmöjlighet under och ett kabinett för att köra dator och laga mat, även det med en del förvaringsutrymme. Jag är ingen fena på att snickra så det är just nu ganska taffligt gjort.
