Borderline personality disorder - Treatment and symptoms. (BPD)
I am on day 5 myself... I was finally able to sleep I feel much better even though I am not 100% yet. Every other day was Hell, especially day 3 I was extremely close of going to the hospital symptoms were overwhelming my whole body was numb and tingling not to mention hot cold hot cold, nausea, sweating, and all the other typical w/d symptoms. Never ever again with that poison ☠
i agree with your opinion
nah bro that is hardcore cope. keep breathing in those chemicals bozo L LUNG CANCER RIP
Hi how long were you on it? How many mg? And did you get your sleep back , how long did it take? Thankyou.
I was on it for around 4 years in total, I was on 200-400mg daily/nightly for my BPD and sleep. I eventually got back to my baseline, of not great sleep, but I recently have started taking 25mg again and it seems to be working better for me. Its super hit or miss with this medication whether I think I should or shouldn't be on it myself. I hope this helps somewhat at all, let me know. Might at some point do a updated video of my journey with medications since.
@@mentalmanny2926 i had to get off serequel it caused fast heart rate, negative thoughts and paranoia, I have hardly slept but I don't have any of negative mentioned problems now, I think my sleep should improve.
I've been off it for 2 weeks now and I feel great. No more restless legs, no more weight gain, no more late night munchies, and thinking is 1,000 times clearer and better. Terrible drug. Also, sleep is pretty good now using Benadryl.
So happy for you!
Did you quit cold turkey? I’m on 12.5 mg right now and wondering if I should cut down to 6mg or just quit from here
So, first off let me say that I'm no doctor or professional this is just from my own experience. So for me the way I ended up getting off seroquel was a slow process, I went from 200mg too 150mg to 100mg to 50mg to 25mg and then off completely. And i reduced every two weeks, slower if necessary. I will say though if you have been on your 12.5mg for a while maybe cut them in half for a couple weeks maybe a month and then off completely. This way your not gonna get bad withdrawal symptoms, I ended up from the time of this video, needing to go back on for like a month or two then coming off again when I was ready so don't feel as if when you do get off it that you have to stay off it. Use it when you need it. Occasionally I will take 50mg for sleep as prescribed by my doctor but very occasionally. Please run this by your doctor or professional if you make any decisions to do so. I wish the best of luck with the process man, it's always good to cut down on the things we take when we can. Good on you man. 👏
@@mentalmanny2926 thanks for such a quick reply, that definitely makes a lot of sense. It’s definitely interesting to hear your perspective. Unfortunately my doctor doesn’t agree with me weaning off so hasn’t offered any support. With that being said I’ve just been going off research online and hoping that a slow taper will work out just fine. Haven’t felt like myself in years, and I can’t wait to be rid of it :)
@@darkdream575 Anytime, if it's any consolation, I started really noticing a pick up in my mood coming off seroquel, my emotions finally came back and whilst sometimes it can be hard to deal with all of them it feels more like myself, I'd rather feel human and struggle abit time to time than how I was so I can totally relate to not feeling yourself on it. Good on you for making a choice to do what's best for you, that's the hard part, so you've got this man. Keep reading up on it, the more information the better! There's some pretty good sub-reddits for each medication usually, I'm part of a few and they usually have pretty good communities with lots of lived experience so if you need any more information from people who might be in a similar position or been through that process already I would definitely recommend checking those out!
Thanks for sharing. Good. I feel better. Sleep better without it. Been 20 or days. I’m not in a fog when I wake up. It blocked me from thinking and experiencing life!
How are you doing without the Seroquel? Mental symptoms? Sleep? Did you have to go back on it?
Im doing okay only on it now as a PRN so as and when. Sleep is a bit all over the place but i would say being on it as and when is tons better than when i was on a heavy dosage every day. I stayed completely without for about 2-3months i did really well but things went up n down alot.
I like the pink hair👍
How are you now?
