@bluemonolith88 You are correct and in a sense, I agree with what you're saying, but the fanfare for this project is unlike anything that I have ever seen, particularly for something that hasn't yet been produced. As overpriced as I consider this pretty little plane to be, I can't help but wonder if it will be enough to fund the Icon business methodology without it going bankrupt and leaving its investors and buyers with nothing more than hopes and dreams.

@airste172 I know a man who owns a savannah light sport aircraft and a porsche. he thinks the savannah is better it can get to anyplace faster than the porsche because a plane doesn't have to follow roads nor a speed limit and flying a plane is just fun so yeah thats my 2 cents

@bluemonolith88 The big difference is that sports cars and SUVs exist. You can go to a dealer any day of the week, pay the money and drive away in the vehicle of your choice. You see SUVs and sports cars everywhere on the streets, but where is there even a single example of an ICON buyer owning and flying one? The prototypes look nice, the promotions and presentations are exciting, interested buyers pay money, but after several years, there is still NO PRODUCT.

@Gendo3s2k At least you won't be getting buyer's remorse for paying that kind of money for an airplane that's only got 100 horsepower and can't even equal the speed of a sports car..
