One Billion Rising, 2023 Louisville Flash Mob
มุมมอง 12210 หลายเดือนก่อน
One Billion Rising is the biggest mass action to end violence against women (cisgender, transgender, and those who hold fluid identities that are subject to gender-based violence) in human history. The campaign, which launched on Valentine’s Day 2012, began as a call to action based on the staggering statistic that 1 in 3 women on the planet will be beaten or raped during her lifetime. With the...

M101 is 21 Million Light Years away, so this event is actually quite old! It was discovered by Koichi Itagaki on 2023-05-19 at 21:42:21 (GMT). This video compares the before image of the galaxy and the one i took around 60 hours later 2023-5-22 between 03:30-9:00 (GMT). It already appears to be the brigthest object in the galaxy visible to us.

A tour of the Cygnus region of the night sky
มุมมอง 532 ปีที่แล้ว
Cygnus is high in the sky this time of year. I made a 12-frame Hydrogen-Alpha (Ha) light mosaic using my Askar-300 telescope. Color inserts of the Cygnus Wall, the Soap Bubble Nebula and the Crescent Nebula are from my higher power scopes using Ha and Oiii data. Original soundtrack. #AstroPhotography #Cygnus #ASIAIR #mosaic #space

Music beats war every time. Thank you Leonid. America loves you and your group of fine musicians.
Love this band BUT Going Live sounds So poor
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌿👍👍
Horrible Horrible sound left half way thru :(
In Denver? Where were you sitting? I heard that in the balcony it didn't sound great. I was close to the front and it was pretty good.
@@MakeAMark Yes in Denver, I was sitting right under the front of the balcony. Dont get me wrong I love the group but really was disappointed in the sound guy. Plus to add to it the guy right behind me was drunk and was screaming every word to every song.
@@Mike-ls1tx Man, sorry to hear that. I've been there too.
A quando in ITALIA ? 🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Privileged to have been there. What an awesome evening!
Just unbelievably talented
Best band on the planet! Seen them live twice...way better live than the original Chicago. Leonid is a true genius.
Nice montage. Caught a lot of nice memories
How did they get here? Through Turkey? This is a truly world class band. Ksenia is a stunning woman, and a great vocalist. She speaks 5 languages, and holds advanced degrees.
Sorry I missed this. My health didn't allow me to make it. I really wanted to see this show.
🤷♂️❤
BEAUTIFUL and goosebump producing as usual!!!! Great job!!!
It was a nice show with a lot of good songs.... From France.

What's best time to watch C/2023 E3 4:30 AM, 5:00 AM or 5:30 AM...?
It keeps getting higher in the sky for the next few weeks. So in a week or so you'll be able to see it all night (if your in the northern hemisphere). It will travel right between the big and little dippers.
I dont get it

Toni (is that her name) is the star of that ensemble. She is what I call "Bluegrass Good," which is the highest praise I give to a guitar player.
What kind of telescope are you using
This was captured using a Celestron EdgeHD-11, with an ASI2600 camera, 2x2 binning, 5 minutes exposures.
@@MakeAMark thanks
sorry dont like the lights
Yes -- the lights made it hard to get good video on my iPhone. By the way, I'm just a fan in the audience with no connection to the performers. Just a big fan.
@@MakeAMark they are as great as the beatles i love them when they play hank sr music my son plays billy birt jr on close mic night and youtube
It was great, the music, the vibe , the venue 🥰

Why do people go to a concert and proceed to talk through the whole thing?? Had the same issue in Columbus. Very annoying.
That's Denver. I've gigged for the past ten years in the area and folks just don't stop talking or screaming at each other. They don't clap after a song but will come up while you're loading out and gush about how much they liked the music.
Thank you so much for posting this. I had so much fun that night.
I live just outside of Denver, where do you play ?
Too bad people won't shut their traps when they go to a concert. Great Stuff!
Very typical of the Denver area. Sound guy ups the volume and folks talk even louder. Drunk screaming is my favorite.
What a great show this was
Roswell. Great song. Love your songs.
I kept checking to see if you might come to Denver. Didn't check enough. Dang I missed it.
That was a wonderful night

Cool! I caught it there too )
Very good video!
beautiful, what camera and scope you used? i won't ask abt the software (green comet really great)/ any lens filter you selected for the shooting. Thank you for sharing great content
Thank you for the comment. This was taken using a Sony A7rii with a Rokinon 135mm f/2 lens. The camera was guided by riding piggy-back on telescope mounted on a Celestron AVX scope mount. No filter was used, and I think this is more or less the comet's natural color.

Awesome footage It seems that SpaceX didn't do anything about the reflectivity of the satalites, something they did promise to do. Hopefully this was just an old batch and they will come back at their earlier statement with future sats.
Nice footage!
Awesome
I wonder if the "leaders" are the two of the four tension rods which held the satellites in the stack before the deployment. If so, there should be two more somewhere.
In the previous Starlink launch of 5 months ago, there were four tumbling pieces of deployment hardware in addition to the 60 satellites! The tumblers look different in the videos, and their orbits stay the same while the satellites maneuver. The NORAD catalog numbers for these tumblers are 44295, 44296, 44297, 44298 and they travel in pairs, each pair in a slightly different orbit. The "leaders" here, which are about five seconds ahead of the main group, are almost surely the two pieces of deployment hardware. In other videos, for example in "Starlink Batch 2 another view from SF" you can see the tumblers from the other pair, "blinking" just behind the main train of the satellites.
i seen this in the night sky over durango co and had no idea what it was
