IMPRACTICAL. The hardest part is to calibrate the Mariotte Tubes. It's impossible to match the infiltration rate with the flow of water from the tubes by raising/lowering the tubes. The tube is HEAVY and you have to raise/lower it MULTIPLE TIMES to get a matching rate. Sometimes taking more than an hour just to match it. IMPRACTICAL.

9:30 I don't know how to set it up. When I open the valve, the water in the Mariotte Tube drops like crazy and I lose all my water in the Tube. SOMEONE HELP.

KCMO water is an joke and a scam.

Chlorination prior to filtration cases the formation of THMs . THMs are formed when chlorine comes into contact with organics in the unfiltered water and carcinogenic! The prechlorination process is no longer used for this reason .

This is a great video! Truly demonstrates the nationwide importance of water on this day and every day!

This is a vital concept for us to embrace. Drinking, bathing, sanitation, fire protection, health care, food preparation, household cleaning, irrigation, agriculture, cooling, industrial production, recreation, and more. Water resources, disinfection, treatment, distribution, collection, and disposal are vital to our survival. I appreciate the professionals, administrators, technicians and workers that make our municipal eater utility work. Truly unsung heroes.
