I really liked this movie as a kid even though I wasn't really a fan of the story. Just the vibe and atmosphere was amazing, it was so badass at the time. I understand why it didn't do well commercially, though: the adult themes and slower paced story didn't really fit with the "rollerpunk" aesthetic that was obviously intended to appeal to kids and teenagers.

I was just talking bout this movie just a yr back and could not find it any ware .... This movie inspired me to pick up a pair of blades and practice every day after school and all summer that within a 1 yr I was better than most of the kids around my neighborhood.. soon after that yr I was riding rails skeetching and taking down the most craziest hills in my city.. Crazy as it may sound as each day goes by the closer we get to this movie becoming a reality. I swear to god if I see Rollerblades making a comeback I'm disappearing to a tiny island somewhere until it all blows over lol

The wildest part is that after seeing this video, Will comes back to check on JOANNA, and says that he DOESN'T CARE that she bullied his sister. He only cares that she lied about it! He then tells Marni that playing the video, that Joanna made mind you, was just as bad as what Joanna did to her. I if I was Marni I would've went scorched earth after that, that's simply not my sibling anymore.
