Created in blender, 120 frames took 6 hours to render. Some of the materials are not perfect, but will have to do. The model was output from DipTrace, retopologized manually, and then manually animated, and a physics animation for the rest.

Good design although as has already been mentioned the bleeding could be improved - I think it's bleeding because the PCB isn't fully translucent so black plastic spacers may perform better. I'd also add that if the signal was fed in the reverse direction (I.e. You connect to the last module), you wouldn't need to reverse your text manually.
Is the bleeding from one segment to the next because the spacers aren't flush against the base PCB board? Is there any way to compensate for it, like fill the bottom of the spacers with some foam or something?
