Really cool to see someone doing a career mode with real drivers and taking interest in dirt racing. Just sucks that NASCAR HEAT 5 is not the most realistic dirt game ever.

It's fine if you're talking about something, if you're not, cut several laps, but not like 10-15 straight and make some kind of ending. Hope you'll do more iRacing.

If your a beginner and you want to actually "Sim Race", it is one of the worst to use. If you want to hotlap or just drive and have fun, it is one of the best.

Super helpful, new to sim racing tried to AC in VR and have lost nights trying to get that to work right and when I do, it doesn't next time I come back to it. Tired AMS2 just last week for first time and by far the best out of the box VR experience. But I was turned off and lost on where to start learning with AMS2. I had no idea about the career mod, going to go find that right now. Looking forward to more videos.

Great video! I have a used shitty wheel that I bought for 10$ (but it's 270°, not 180° as it usually in cheapest ones and really quiet), it's good for something like Heat 5, but in AC it's much harder since pedals are bad (throttle literally broken, but still works so I don't do anything with it) and the only feedback is vibration, but I could manage some OK results. A few days ago I started Iracing, first day I was terrible and lost 0.46 safety rating on ovals, but 2 next days I was doing better and now have 2.93, I guess I'll do fine, but I want to buy G29 in a few months.

I mean, project cars 2 is a bad game for beginners simply because you can not buy it anymore. a beginner probably hasnt already gone and bought these games, so a beginner will probably never have a chance to play this.

WITH MOZA SRP LITE PEDALS I COULD GET A BRAKE PEDAL UPGRADE FOR RESISTANCE INCREASE, BUT STILL NOT A LOADCELL. WITH FANATEC I CAN UPGRADE MY CSL PEDALS WITH A LOAD CELL KIT. WHEN IT COMES TO WHEELBASES, WITH MOZA I HAVE TO BUY THE R9 FOR EXTRA BOOST OF FFB TO 9Nm. WITH FANATEC I CAN GET THE POWER SUPPLY UPGRADE FOR 8Nm. I JUST CANT DECIDE AND I HOPE TO GET YOUR INPUTS ON THIS, THANKS

I played a lot of F1 2020 because I loved the idea of building your own team. With all its flaws and deficiencies I loved it because it gave back that good F1 atmosphere. But after 3 or 4 seasons when we finally became a real dominant team the AI just went off the hook and they started doing insane times. Like suddenly everyone is a second faster than me. I'll go and give 2019 a try.

what about project cars 3? PC 2 isn't on steam apparently.

I think that if project cars 2 had better physics it would be one of the best racing games on the market! Still had loads of fun playing the carrier mode. Also great video!

Just tried VR racing for the first time with F123 the other week, now wanting to go a lot more realistic so perfect timing for me to follow this series.

Hey nice video! While Project Cars 2 isn't a bad choice I think Automobilista 2 is much better. It is basically the same graphics and accessibility as PC2 but with almost everything better from handling, AI, availability, online racing, diversity and DLCs and more. It is also very easy to run.and runs fabulously in VR.

In the process of making this video I realized that Project Cars 2 has some of the best trailers in sim racing. Just a random post video editing thought haha
