This is so beautiful I’m so used to disgusting, disappointing endings in TV shows but this is just so beautiful I’m crying

Growing up is realizing that this is a happy ending.

It is hard to imagine how great an impact this production had when it was at the National (then at the Old Vic) in, I think, 1964. Not just on my younger self, but on just about everyone in London who went to the theatre in those days. Or so it seemed. This was an abundance of this calibre and kind of theatre at the time, both at the National and the RSC, and the roll call of young actors in those two companies (and to some extent in the West End), would be impossible to replicate these days. It seemed to exist because people wanted to do good work, and the good work done was an end in itself. No hype. No self-flouting self-promotion. Just the play. And the actors. And Maggie Smith (as I recall) getting astonishing reviews simply for her reading of the line: This haddock is disgusting. The cast for this production included Derek Jacobi, Edith Evans, Lynn Redgrave, Robert Lang, Robert Stephens.... And strangely enough we all just sat there and listened, and it was heaven to be young and alive and part of all that. And funny too. Very funny.

RIP Maggie. Class act. You shall be missed.

i just finished watching this for the first time, no knowledge of what exactly I was getting myself into, after my friend begging me for YEARS and finally giving in. probably the best decision I’ve ever made. I don’t think I’ll forget this show for a very long time.

Convinced my mother to watch Hannibal after I did. Why did I wait so long to watch this masterpiece. I listen to Love Crime religiously and cry now. The devastation I felt when I figured out this song was basically written directly for Hannibal. I just love this series so much, I literally published a fanfic before I was even close to finishing it

My life turned into before hannibal and after, after ive watched the show, this scene made me cry so hard that i felt my lungs vibrating in some way, i felt so much emotions and emptiness after the scene, i couldnt describe it. This is truly the best show ive ever seen, amd i dont think ill ever find a better one.

Despite his love for Kate, Juliet was the best thing for Jack. She really was his true equal in so many way that Sawyer and Kate never were to each other. Jack and Juliet's friendship was like marriage without sexual intimacy. But romantic intimacy was definitely there. In the Other Woman episode, Juliet no longer wasn't the other woman because Jack chose her over Kate in that episode. But Juliet broke it off with him based on her false assumption about why he kissed her. Sawyer and Kate's relationship was very unhealthy and manipulative. Kate admitted that Sawyer reminds her of her biological father which was the basis of her attraction to him. Kate became a better person because of Jack and Sawyer became a better person because of Juliet.

Why does will Reach for his gun? Because he’s looking at Hannibal when he does. I always wondered if it was because he saw warning in Hannibal’s eyes when he looked at him, or because he changed his mind about wanting to see him die

Incorporating the dragon’s wings could have been really hokey, but they pull it off in a way that’s honestly quite beautiful.
