First Job for the TYM T394 Tractor
We have a load of composted dirt scheduled for delivery, but the path for the dump truck is blocked by a decorative rose garden. We use a TYM tractor to remove the roses and bucket on the tractor loader to level the ground.

    Safe hikes and nice dog. Perhaps is it optimal to get a tent whit a floor liner ?

    • @SKEvolved
      @SKEvolved 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Jasmine is a great dog This tent does come with a floor liner, I just didn't set it up that day in the yard. In my opinion, if it is cold enough to use a hot tent, you don't really need the floor. There are not really any bugs, and the floor liner can get very dirty in a hurry, because you are wearing boots, melting snow or just softening up the frozen ground inside the tent from the heat of the stove. Appreciate you watching. Cheers! -Steve

    With the Cot, I recommend starting with the centre legs, you'll notice the center has two rubber grommets to fit in the grooves. This will center the bars perfectly. I never knew they had leg extensions, I hot tent with these cots on the ice and my only complaint is being to close to the ice. Yes, mine has a removable top, that is for people who might have a small stove in the center of the tent. But not if it is supposed to rain. You'll have an open roof. If you mean you untied the center straps at the top of the main tent, those are not supposed to come apart. That is where the center support pole goes to hold up the tent. -Steve

    Great review of the hot tent. I just ordered mine and basically had a couple questions. Overall how do you like it? And what is the approximate weight as I'm looking to fold it up and put it inside my large backpack? Or does it have to be rolled up and put in that bag that it came in

    • @SKEvolved
      @SKEvolved 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Congrats! Always fun to get out camping. Overall, I do like it. My only issue is the door only zips open from the bottom. So, being older, I have to get down on knees to reach it. That is not the tents fault. If only Pomoly would come out with a youth potion?!? It is light enough to go in a backpack. The bag helps keeps the poles and stakes contained and doesn't really add any weight. Either way, sir. 😀

But I definitely know what you mean by the zippers being on the bottom I'm about 250 pounds in 6 and 1 and I'm in okay shape but I can see how that would be a problem. LOL. Hasn't held up for you? @@johnhenry8839 Interesting. As far as shelters go, it certainly is easy to setup. If using with a wood stove, maybe don't use a Scotchgard for rainproofing, since it is so flammable. In Missouri, you have the benefits of actually having trees, maybe tie a tarp over it like a rainfly? That would give you the water protection.

    Hey pretty cool the way you modified it to fit your stove. That's an awesome little stove. Great video, cheers.

    Does your stove leak any smoke and has it warped at all?? Was going to order the gstove but its months waiting time and seriously considering this but read 1 or 2 bad reviews.

      Stove does not leak at all. Stove pipe pieces fit snug and don't leak either. The warping happens anytime you heat any metal to glowing red hot. (Even the titanium ones). I don't get my stove that hot and have not had any issues with warping. In one of my videos, I used a laser thermometer on it, and it was over 400 degrees. Plenty hot to heat a tent. It doesn't have to glow to be hot. Hope that info helps. Personal note, I also considered the gstove. I went with the Winnerwell and am very happy. The gstove also has less cook surface because of that hump at the back. Just my humble 2 cents. -Steve

      Let me add, it can leak smoke, if it is not operated correctly. For example, when adding wood, don't just whip open the door. Open it a crack, give it a 2 count, then open the door all the way. Give the fire inside a chance to adjust to the change in air inlet. Any stove can leak if you just straight open the door without waiting a couple seconds. If you don't, smoke can come back out of the stove. Also, if you damper a stove down too much, and the exhaust pipe cools, the stove will loose its draw. That can also make smoke come back out, or leak from the top of the stove. Any stove, not just Winnerwell. You'll get the hang of it with some practice. Hope to see you out camping. 😃 -Steve
