2014 Nissan Versa Note Middle Brake Light Repair
If you have a Nissan Versa Note and your middle brake light burns out, it is expensive to replace. You can fix it for much less if you have surface mount soldering skills.
Replacement LED used was the OSRAM LS-E6SF. Just do a search on eBay for that and you'll find some.
Here's a link to the data sheet:

Remove Old Protective Plastic Film With Steamer

I acquired a gas grill a few years old, and the protective plastic file was still on the stainless steel doors. It was very brittle and would not come off. This video shows you how I removed the film with a steamer and some alcohol.

Here's the replacement impeller I ordered: www.amazon.com/Active-Aqua-Replacement-Impeller-Pump/dp/B008UFBTES/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=active aqua aapwimp400&qid=1590430688&sr=8-1 I found the replacement rubber O-rings on eBay. Search for something...

While watching the video, the first thing that came to mind was "How much would a new pump cost?" looks to be something that would cost less than $50.

  • @rsk8310

I took mine apart and the shaft was not broke. It seemed like it may have been a bit dried out by the rubber bushings it fits into so i took water based lube and lubed the whole shaft and rubber bushings and put it all back together. I also think there may have been a bit of debris in this area from when I had to super glue the filter housing back together a couple times and it may have been a dried piece of super glue. Anyway it works now with no parts replaced.

I love to watch how to videos, but I sure could do without all the "point out all the screws and then show me how to use a screw driver to remove each and every screw". I do not need the filler in the video. All I need are the main points. It's rather dull to have to skip thru a video! It just makes it D U M B.

Awesome job! You managed to get this fixed for pretty cheap. That said, those of us out here that don't have $750.00 worth of gear will probably have to spend the $60 - $80 to buy the replacement. Since you have all the gear you should probably offer your services to fix these things for $25 plus shipping/handling. Make some of the money to pay for all that cool gear and help us run of the mill guys save a few buck too.

It's a cheap Chinese inflatable hot tub. What did you expect for $500?? My 2 friends both have $8000 hot tubs whose pipes leak (!) and one just spent $600 on pump repairs. Plus, they're not cheap to run. THAT'S why I bought a Coleman SaluSpa. It's cheap ($482+tax) and I can fix it myself. I'd researched these beforehand and decided this was the most economical way to go. I built a level 8'×8' platform for it to sit on so, for about $1000, I'm satisfied. It's cheap to buy, cheap to run, and cheap to fix. Win-win-win.👍👍👍

@@imdeplorable2241 I bought one over 2 years ago, clean the filters weekly, and just started to get a e02 but only when i turn the bubbler on, I think the air bubbles are going into the suction for the pump so my pump must be wearing out , If i only run one at a time i have no issues. I do keep the water level high too so that might be it. Bottom line well worth the money and would buy another. The $8000 ones always have issues, i can buy 16 of these for the same price. BTW I'm a proud Deplorable too.

    • @imdeplorable2241

@@rsk8310 Research shows that the pump impeller's shaft breaks. I just bought a two-pack on Amazon when, not if, it breaks. Looks like an easy fix to me. The pump has an o-ring between its two halves. Perhaps it's sucking air through a faulty o-ring. If you take it apart, then replace the impeller while you're at it. I took the filter off and the chlorine tablet holder off the outlet and forced water from a garden hose into the unit's intake to force an air bubble out of the pump. A big bubble shot out of the exit side. I tried tapping it with a screwdriver handle to dislodge the air bubble and it worked the first time it happened but, not the second. The water hose did the trick. Blew it right out. Might want to try that first. Sorry man, that's the best I've got for a fellow Deplorable.👍 🇺🇸BIDEN IS NOT MY PRESIDENT AND IS AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE 🇺🇸

I am also well versed in the operation of these bots. Mine was coding 02 because that little flange in the water path if the white plastic section under the flow sensor, has an encased steel button that gently fixes to the magnet. Mine was dirty enough to require cleaning it. After which, it stopped interfering with flow. The axle that it hinged on was also so weak from age, if crumbled. I replaced it with a short bamboo skewer and snipped the excess. Working perfectly many months later.

  • @ralphjones7531

My shaft wasn't broken it was the plastic itself that houses the magnet. Replace it anyhow. Its much quieter now. Have had mine for 3 years until this fix. Also if you need a hack on dirt on the bottom of your hot tub...i use a swifter duster with the fluffy pad slowly place it to the bottom and slowly run it across the bottom. slowly pull it out rinse and repeat. Works awesome. May have posted that before but good hack.
