Thanks for the research regarding Kristen's life and her death. There are a couple small inconsistencies in the timeline or facts that you mentioned around the story and Kristen's death. According to Mark Lanegan's book, "Sing Backwards and Weep", a book I would recommend to read due to his close relationship with both Kurt and Layne and his connection with many of the musicians in Seattle and his own drug use and dealing. Towards the end of Chapter 21 of his book/memoir, he describes a detailed account of meeting Kristen at Kurt's Wake at the Lake Washington home, this would have been on Sunday, April 10th. So, I am not sure about the accuracy of her checking herself into rehab the next day after Kurt's death in Minneapolis? It sounds like Kristen flew in from Minneapolis for the wake after hearing of Kurt's passing on Friday the 8th? He recounts in his book that they gazed at each other at Kurt's wake and there was some kind of vibe/chemistry between the two. According to his memoir, he received a call from Lori Barbero (drummer of Babes in Toyland) and Kristen a few weeks later and Kristen told Mark that she was interested in dating him. She then mentioned that she planned to be back in town (Seattle) next month and wanted to hang out with him. Obviously, this did not happen, and it doesn't sound like Kristen had an intent in meeting up with Mark when she did arrive to move her stuff out of her apartment. However, it is important to note that Mark Lanegan's account is a first person account and Kristen's death was on June 16th 1994, not July 16th as initially stated in this video, when stating that she arrived on July 15th. However, you later do state the correct month and date of June 16th. Lanegan then recounts that he received a phone call from Courtney notifying him that Kristen OD'd while in Seattle. Worth reading through that part of the book towards the end of Chapter 21. There are also a lot of interesting stories involving his relationship and interactions specifically with Kurt and Layne. He also talks about a time when Demri Parrott walked out of the hospital from the Univ. of Washington Medical Center with an IV in tote a few blocks to where Mark's apartment was located trying to get some drugs from him.

Eric was around both! And in his book he even said that because of his stupid actions two people were dead. I think he was a unwilling participant in supplying hot shots to Kurt and Kristen. Meaning "someone" ordered the hotshots and he delivered or was involved in covering it up afterwards to save their asses. Kurt took Courtney away from him and by the sounds of it, kurt could have taken Kristen away from both. Nevermind the money. If he wasn't involved in the actual crime he knows what happened. Kurt and Kristen could have unalived themselves but with helping hands.

Kristen was trying to get away from the satanic practices that was going on behind the scenes because it made her uncomfortable and she also knew too much about Kurt's death sonshe became a liability and had to be silenced. She became another sacrifice for Courtney.

@12:25 I remember hearing a story somewhere that Eric showed up to Kristen's funeral uninvited.In fact, I believe that her family didn't want any of the members from Hole there. Eric and Courtney show up anyway, and he's beside himself crying and being hysterical, and he throws himself on top of her coffin and begins sobbing🤷‍♂️Maybe I'm wrong but that's what remember reading . So I believe that's what she was referring to. Very interesting hearing more background about Kristen's life! I didn't know she had a background women's rights. That was right up Kurt's alley! They must have been such good friends 😍
