I could do a video going more into detail about the advantages and disadvantages of the two. But I think the biggest advantages of a cruiser is it’s more comfortable for riding long distances and as far as customizing goes you have more options but sports bikes are usually cheaper and faster

Yeah it’s not perfect but it definitely works. Saddle bags options for the chief are pretty limited in all honesty, most of the stuff I saw was just universal saddle bags

@@Kriscosmic can you drill a new hole on the front of the bracket to make it sit better?

@@DanielTojcic I suppose you could. It may be possible to line the bracket up straight to the ground, I just wasn’t able to do it because of my sissy bar being in the way. Them being at an angle looked okay in my opinion and didn’t have any negative effects from what I could tell

The Springfield and the Chief have the same engines. This one may sound nicer because I have aftermarket slip ons on it

It the road near Hemet! It is a great ride it was my first time out there. I agree the whole area is really scenic

If you’re trying to do actual Indian branded add ons you’re definitely limited. In my experience finding parts that are made by third parties isn’t that bad. Most of the stuff that is made for Indians tends to be made in America or made to order so it’s great quality but just a bit more expensive. The hardest part with that stuff is getting it installed because there’s not a lot of install videos and stuff like that for Indians especially chiefs

@@Kriscosmic My experience was from while back when I was just trying to get a sissy bar / luggage rack and a bag. Stuff that was so easy to source for most cruisers.

@@SmittyAZ I think it’s definitely gotten easier to get basic stuff like that these days. Dean Speed is my go to for most stuff and that’s actually where I got my sissy bar from. I put some Thrasin Supply saddle bags on the bike recently but those were made for Harley’s so I had to get a bit creative. I made a video on getting them instead
