Wow! Things have certainly changed for the better with the new set up. Last time I was there just before the pandemic we landed on a little grass field at the top right next to the apron. It looks like now they have a much better concreted area for choppers lower down. I've seen some horrible accidents on youtube and frankly don't want to go back there if I can avoid it! Great, interesting video😊

My dad was a pilot. He explained how low wing planes have a harder time landing because of "ground effect". The difference is clearly visible in this video with the grey plane. High wing aircraft can land on shorter runways.

10:54 The "Thai Airline" was seen overshooting the take-off point. Probably, it was overloaded, and it wasn't gaining sufficient speed for talk-off, so the pilot pulled his yoke late.

That Korean-Asiana A380 parallel take off at 1:01:00 was both breathtaking and symbolic. Wonderfully compiled.

7:15 it’s amazing how much nose down needs to be apply and how “easy” it is for it to land after half rwy passed and still be able to stop that quickly! TO is an amazing plane which I had the opportunity to fly to/from Lukla with. Well done!
