This channel was created for my players and families to easily access all games and highlights, along with how to/ explanation videos for players and other coaches!
I found from coaching jv girls, varsity girls, varsity boys, club players from ages 8-18 I was repeating my self a lot and my players kept asking/ requesting the same things, so I created this to give them access to what they need whenever they need it. I was also really nervous going into my first season coaching alone and there were a lot of questions I had that weren't being answered, or they weren't explained as well as they could have been, so I thought I would share things I have learned along the way for new coaches as well.

Can you show rotation 3 serve receive when the ball goes over the net? I feel like you skipped that.
Setter is pushing up your middle in the outside spot. Then you can either have your right side drop back in zone 1 or your outside drop back. Usually in this rotation right side would be hitting right side, outside would be hitting middle for one and middle would be hitting out of outside for one. Once the ball goes over you all go back to regular bases Does this help? I know I need to update the rotation videos

What part is confusing? I can make an updated one better and add a drawn out version… would that help?
3:10 doesn't it suffice for the outside hitter to be in front of the setter (and not necessarily in front of all back row players)?
For people just learning the easiest way to explain it… is if any player is pulling back from the front row to just remember to be slightly in front of the back players. Especially depending on who is reffing your game (some refs will call that some let it go)

I know I already asked for 6-2 but can you do 4-2 without anyone swapping spots?
Yes, I have a lot of games in the next week or so but I will try to get it done at our next practice (which unfortunately is next week 😭) would it help at all if I drew out rotation sheets for you?
@@CoachAeriannaSmith Yes! That would help me out. I introduced it to my team recently and they’re a little more confused than I thought they would be.

Email me aeriannasmithvolleyball@gmail.com I’ll send you the rotations written out if you need a video right now you can use the 6-2 it’s the same thing as a 4-2 but your setter sets out of the front instead of pushing up or pulling back you have 3 straight across ( my JV team started this rotation last week so it’ll be perfect for them to do a video on this)
