I lost respect for Magnus and anyone else who says the Classical way isn't the right way to determine Chess World Champion and Rapid format is better measure, or something like this wasn't a match between strongest players nonsense. Did Kasparow even see who all Gukesh defeated in the Candidates? Why they didn't voice any of this before the 14th match? This coming from former world champion Magnus is sad and ridiculous. Why he didn't say Classical isn't the right format when Ding won last year or when he himself won the championship? Just because an Indian has won these jealous and envious souls who can't see Indians rising above them are now crying like babies and discrediting the World Championship itself. Exact same thing happened when India landed it's spacecraft on Moon. Gukesh has defeated many legendary players to even reach as World Championship challenger. Magnus Carlson what a loser and sissy girl you turned out to be! With that kinda attitude I'm now very sure Gukesh is going to thrash you and show your place very soon. Be prepared to be crushed by Gukesh in whatever format you want to be lose and cry. Sigh!

He might be bit lucky to face ding in his low but winning candidate over Fabiano/Ian /hikaru and pure rare prodigy like Alireza etc isn't luck . For people saying that he can't be called champion until magnus is there , he himself said he isn't best until magnus is there but people need to understand magnus himself said he don't have motivation neither like for the way championship has been playing, if he force himself on something he don't have motivation then he may lose no matter how goat chess player they are , best example is ding , if gukesh faced ding in his prime then such blunder won't happen

Gukesh won the candidates. Has anyone seen the lineups?? Nakamura, fabiano, alireja, nodibrek, nepo. Do you think these players are stupid. Didn't gukesh had the most points after the candidates ahead pf these greats. U are just undermining one of the greatest feat for a guy of 18 years and the sole reason is that he comes from INDIA. The western asses are burning so much seeing the rise of India. It happened when China was on tge rise, same stuff again.

People criticizing Gukesh should become either the third youngest GM in the history, or win Olympiad board 1 gold medals back-to-back, or win both Candidates and World Championship in a single year. Fair, I guess.

It's really true, chess is such a brutal game. It was really understandable why Ding has these thoughts of no more pressure if he wasn't able to play a good game he would be considered as the worst world champion. During Carlsen's time if you are the current chess champion you are considered the best of them all. But now Ding-Gukesh times, it seems like whoever the world champion is, must carry that heavy load of pressure to play the best chess in every tournament they joined. It was really understandable as to why several past world Chess champion's demands high quality of play in the tournament. Probably not this most recent world chess championship series that had a lot of draws.
