I have had the Logitech Z906 for years, and while it functions as a PC 5.1 better than the rest, the sound quality is very sub par for anyone close to being an audiophile. Solution: The Z906 speakers are all plastic and have only a single cone with no tweeter, hence it excels in mid range sound sacrificing the top end (The subwoofer isn't very tight either). Therefore, I spliced in Polk Signature S10 speakers for my Front L/R in order to add more high end clarity to the setup and it's pretty great. 2nd Solution: I am currently running a 2.1 Klipsch THX desktop speaker setup (Which IMO is the best sounding 2.1 for PC without breaking the bank), and I spliced the Z906 center channels (bought 2 off e-bay) in order to boost the mid range (Klipsch positioned 30 degrees Left and Right, 2x Z906 Center under the monitor facing the wall). This setup not only boosts the mid range that the Klipsch isn't as strong in, but it also makes the sound of vocals come from the monitor instead of split from L/R and "sounds" like it comes from the monitor. Future: I am now sure that the best desktop 5.1 speaker setup will be Multiple 2.1 setups plugged into your sound card. I plan to build a new home office soon, and I will run one 2.1 Klipsch THX desktop speaker in the front with the Z906 center channels to fill the mid range under the monitor, and another 2.1 setup mounted on the walls behind me to create a 5.2 setup.

Uhm, the HyperX Cloud is NOT for big ears !!! They absolutely trash my ears after 1 hour use... came here looking for other options and cant really trust this video if THAT is in the lineup. :( RIP

nah, you can fuck that stupid AI voice off anytime you like. remember, it's reading a script and you can't use abbreviations and expect it to know what everything means. so annoying, and the list isn't even 5.1 surround based, most of it is stereo setups.
