I've been debating on upgrading to one of these wheels from my thrustmaster t248, which is my first sim racing wheel, and I've loved it since I've bought it, so this is the comparison video I was looking for. Just by reading the comments, I've made my mind up before watching the video and I'm going with the Fanatec DD pro. Thank you

I feel that you need the 8nm for it to compete. When i went to dd after my cswv2.5 i was let down testing a 5nm dd but 10nm was amazing. I felt just as much from my cswv2.5 as a 5nm dd wheel. It was stronger also then the dd wheel and almost almost as smooth bevause i mean the cswv2 5 was just the goat of belts. But the tgt2 is very close so i couldnt imsgien going to a 5nm dd and switching from a 6 to 7nm belt wheel. Ive found dd truely shoes itself at 10+nm they were clearly designed for stronger motors due to hoe fluid and smooth they are. Having less friction can trick the brain with power. Plus many of these sims were desigbed by using belt wheels so they will hsve a special feel on some titles the extra power will make up for that with dd though. Load cell is what makes you gain time much better much better. Helps so much with precision and consistency which will make you faster.

I hope someone I vents something not direct drive as it truly feels awful for me. T-gt ii is ideal for me. Tried both dd pro and extreme but they don't feel great to me. Even the logitech DD isn't great to me

6:00 Especially the D pad on the Fanatec DD gave me a hard time, over used it maybe a little too much but it literally fell apart after 1 year of usage. I taped it down so it doenst look awkward and have to use the controller now to navigate. :(

What pedals should I use? I mean what TLCM pedals is compatible with tgt2?

I currently have the thrustmaster t300. My issue with it is overheating. When I play GT7, I have to turn the ffb down to 4-6 torque, so not nearly as much ffb. The next issue is that whenever I turn more than 90 degrees, the wheel vibrates, and I immediately go off track. This issue makes road cars close to undrivable.

Curious what gear you have today. Is the Fanatec DD Pro something you would recommend now?

Hi love the video, did anyone here lose power to the wheel and knows perhaps how to fix it? I recieved my TGT 2 2 days ago. Brand new. It worket for half an hour on GT7 on PS5. Than i tried dirt rally 2.0 and EA WRC. IT wouldnt work. I realised that you have to switch the GT (usb switch i believe) to OTHER for all games other than GT7. I restarted the ps5. While it was off i switched over to OTHER while i unplugged the usb. As described in the manual. Thats when it wouldnt turn on and its been sitting there. My game shop offered me a repair, im a bit turned off atm. as I've seen a lot of people with this issue on reddit and other sites. Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated. I am uploading a video as we speak. You can go have a look at how i connected it. Maybe im do8ng something wrong. I would like to crack the TGT 2 open and see for my self but that would void my warranty. Im gona try connecting to my pc maybe a software update is needed. I got one of the first ps5 that came out when the shortage was on. Maybe the older ps5. Dont wotk...i dont know anymore. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.

Love it! Me I'm sticking with a 49inch curved monitor. I can't deal with the hassle of 3 monitors lol. But I'm happy you can so enjoy it! Also where did you go? You just disappeared.

I was thinking about getting the Moza R9 - but just realized thats China. So then i checked Fanatec, which is a German company (i love German stuff), but its produced in China... Simucube is stupid expensive if you ask me (€1953,73 for the cheapest wheel and wheel base bundle), but at least its based in Finland, and i BELIEVE its made in Italy. Thrustmaster is a US company who has their factories in the US, and the T-GT2 is probably good enough for me. The Simucube is definitely tempting, but idk, LOL..!

what cable adaptors are you using to get all three to work and what hz are you using and are you in 4k or lower resolution?

fanatec is made in germany......factory is 80 km from me.....for me thrustmaster weel is wort probably 400 not 700-800....fanatec must go with price by ps to 500-600 range.....

The T-gt 2 is incredible, but not for its price, if you want a cheaper wheel for gt7 the T300-RS is great, and if you have extra money 100% worth the Fanatec, but if you can find mabye a used Gt-2 its a awesome wheel that can satisfy sim racing needs and is probably worth it, its probably one of the best gear/belt driven wheels ever.

Can I ask a personal question? If you could choose a triple screen, which one would you prefer? triple MONITOR LED widescreen 34" R1500 2k 144hz vs triple TV 55" OLED (can run 2k 120hz) I had a hard choice to do 😆

why not put side screens way closer to you for more inmersion

yo what rtx 3090 do you have is it asus evga zotac? i have a zotac 3090 and i cant get triple screens - only 2 screens

Did the TGT have a vibration thing like those sound things you put on the rig where it would vibrate your rig or something? Have you felt it and was it translating what is happening in game to the rig well enough? Thats one thing i am really curuios about the tgt

I already have Thrustmaster T-LCM pedals and it works great with my T300. Now I will replace it with the T-GT 2 wheelbase+wheel. If you play mostly GT7 on PS5 and you are not a pro sim racer, the T-GT2 is more than enough for having fun.

I love thrustmaster but recently scored huge on buying a return pallet and it had a fanatec podium wheel the box was damaged but never opened, the rest of the stuff i sold except for that and a printer . So now my kids use my thrustmaster rig , and i use the podium

I just wish Fanatec had better options for Canadians. We have to pay horrible conversions on the dollar and import fees.. the $800 option costs us like $1300 or $1400 canadian dollars.. :( We only have one store up here that sells it and he price gouges.. $1400 for the DD Pro with the 8nm add on. plus tax... comes out to around $1600.. :(
