When Hartman at this moment didn't show Leonard the respect by calling him private Lawrence he signed his own death warrant.
does this work with collisions on?
no, i only turn collisions off when I fly online
I love the change in Hartman's tone to more calm when he asks, "What's this weapon's name, Private Pyle?" Leonard passed all the questions and now was asking him a "small-talk" type question.
collision is off, rotor diameter is way bigger then this. this can be done with a littlebird. th-cam.com/video/pVksKfBwORs/w-d-xo.html
collision is not off, but that's a hell of a compliment if you think it is.
I would tend to be skeptical myself when I see these videos but in the case of this. The damage was set to on. I know this because I was in an Apache directly behind him trying to do the same. To say the least, I was a fun night and we had a LOT of crashes.
nice one UC / Spaghetti.. was a fun flight 🚁👍
Still in his fake cop uniform. Omg. Glad he in jail and this is why. So.
This looks so fun. :) Great flying!
Thanks.. It's a lot of fun.
NIce!
I fly controller and have been using the su25t and f16 for about a year. It is a LOT to learn even for one aircraft. HOWEVER, cost is not as big a factor if you simply take the time to hook up a 20$ controller and learn to use it
I sure do miss that. It's been 20 years since the last one.🙂🙂
This one was some time in 2016 that I found on my camera and was unaware of. I went and got current last thursday after 8 years of not being in the air.

From a kind of casual DCS player POV I'd add that you don't have to fly high fidelity aircraft if you don't have enough time to invest into DCS (like me). I sincerely think that A-10A and F-15C are fun planes to fly for a reasonable cost (especially in FC2024 bundle).
"take a break, get a drink, smoke a bowl" I bet 90% of dcs players blaze it, for sure.
bro just outs us like that, smokin or drinkin while flyin......... totally not me notching hyper sonics ina eagle high as shit laughing as i get turned into powder
Fantastic song choice.
When people say DCS is more realistic than warthunder, ill show them this.
Yea, people always pick highlights to make their case. Enjoy your mouse flying though.😄
Just like golf!! The dang golf clubs are more expensive!
just about anything worth doing is expensive anymore
I hope guilt catches him I did and it got me fast story to all air hockey players if you stop the puck but can't get it back on the field the honorable thing to do is use the paddle and let the opponent get the point not pull it out back on the field
Perfect, spot on! 👏
Then Pvt. Pyle went on to have a fulfilling and stellar military career
Good video!! Out of interest how did you set up your control menu categories? Thanks.
Sorry for the slow reply. To get the category drop down hit the check mark up top that says "foldable view" 0:34
Are you my long lost twin? 🤣
Can you try with washing up gloves?
Full kit for the next video...
I find it heartwarming that Private Pyle was able to finally straighten himself out.
Until he killed Hartman and then himself

Ah ...DCS ...the love/hate scenario!!! I've got a decent investment into it ...literally ...almost two thousand dollars. I'm retired with extra time & income. BUT ...I've not played DCS in months because at this price point ...I expect a dang thing to retain my key bindings for the many aircraft I've purchased. My PC & flight sim peripherals are high end & popular. It is not them that is the problem. I've spent HOURS binding keys ...only to find them all gone ...gone ...disappeared. I'd take a refund tomorrow ...but can't even get a response from DCS. This renders it a total failure for me ...period. DON'T BUY IT!!!
there is an option to save and export your bindings in case that happens.... Early dcs used to wipe the bindings every update, so compared to that.. this is minor.
@@spaghetti9845 I did try that. I duplicated the process off TH-cam ...for some reason it did not work. I've rebound keys many times ...do you know of a link that'll help out.
@@jimhargreaves1526 you might can find some on the user files of the dcs website. if you are using common hardware im sure someone has uploaded a profile for it somewhere so you have a starting point.
Are they going to do a UH-60A/EA-60?
doubt it.. there is a nice mod for the UH-60L tho
The real 'Harsh Truth' is that DCS is a 'Forever Early Access' game that Rivals Star Citizen and the only reason it hasn't been boycotted into oblivion is because of a Tiny playerbase. Buy the F15E? C101?(and others) Just out of luck,The Devs left and Its unfinished and unsupported forever. Want a Mission to play? Go Sort through over 14 years of 'Player' made Missions or Pay (More) Money for A Campaign that May or May-Not work Now or Suddenly because this most recent update broke a slew of things, and for some reason the community laughs and considers it normal. Did you like that Apache? Thats awsome! You're currently paying over 60$ for a Arma mod/WarThunder product you can get for free because its 'In Early Access', And yes that includes the blackshark 1+2+3 the oldest module in the game and its unfinished. Like to see the Vision and the plans to have things to be excited for in the future? Sorry, that doesn't happen as most things you wont ever hear of again. Have a Problem? Have an Issue? Hope you like forcing a horse to drink from water, You will be told from the start that you are wrong even with video, audio, picture evidence and witness testimony unless you have that trackfile that 99% of the time doesn't work because the Developers in over 14 years have YET to fix or remove the very replays they demand so much of only to not look at. THAT is the HARSH TRUTH.DCS is a Sinking CASH COW. Even its biggest supporters are abandoning ship if that isnt a redflag nothing will be.
damn. i had no idea warthunder or arma were so polished. i shall abandon dcs this instant!
Ok dude, we get it…
good. i'm glad you understand unless you wear a flight suit while playing and don't intend to steal a military aircraft for the apocalypse then dcs is just a waste of thyme.
Having/finding good communities of players has been key for me. Having people that want to fly with you and want you to be better takes a lot of the frustration out and makes you want to try again. That’s me though. Ha.
0:10 I would have to say that is inaccurate. In fact, disappointingly inaccurate, considering that these guys are the US Marine Corps. You *MUST NOT* look down the chamber of a firearm under *ANY* circumstances, *INCLUDING* to verify that it is not loaded. You won’t know if it’s loaded if it goes off. You wanna know why? Because you’d be dead.
Chamber, not barrel. By pulling the bolt back, you can examine the chamber from the rear of the weapon.
I think you're confusing chambers for barrels. The chamber is the port where the round is pushed into the entrance of the barrel. You look down the chamber not through the end of the barrel but through pulling the charging handle.
I love it when people who have no idea what they are talking about try to correct people who do 😂 It's so embarrassing for them but very funny to see
@@prabhdeep__ amen
i did that but after a while It keeps showing up like never been deleted... what should I do?
Keep deleting it. The system will make new backups every couple of weeks so delete everything except the oldest one. If you take a screenshot of the one you deleted and the next one being built you will see the file sizes are different.
Accurate!
This is a game. It's a great game and a fun sim, but completely different from reality. None of you would be able to safely take off and land. I'd guess less than 1% could even properly strap in. You would be off speed, off altitude, cutting people off, not following procedures, IRTs, couldn't shoot approaches (much less request one), almost certainly improperly handle the aircraft from engine start to shutdown and damage something, certainly G-LOC, certainly get airsick, etc etc etc... This is a game. It is not real life and will never be real life. Stop acting like you compete on compare in any way to the real deal.
Never said it did.. hell I even said it was a 'game' not a 'sim', but I can smell your sense of self important elitism from here trying to convey the "I've done it for real you haven't. It's different" BS. Take that shit somewhere else. It's a pretty dumb ass assumption that because someone flys in DCS they have zero real world experience. On the off chance you have something constructive to say, I'm all for it, but let's be honest.. the whole reason for your comment was to draw attention to yourself and act like you have some tidbit of knowledge the rest of us mere peons can only hope to attain. There. You got your attention. Was it everything you hoped it would be?
@@spaghetti9845 It’s not bullshit, you people think you compete on the same level as individuals that worked their ass off for over a decade to get where they are.
Show me a time stamp where I said or remotely suggested it is even close to doing it for real or that it in any way compares? Go on. I'll wait. It's interesting that a holy deity such as yourself is getting angry over something so trivial. That seems like such a petty human emotion. I also like that you completely dodged the bit about assuming people have no actual experience. I've jumped out of planes for 15+ years.. so what? Do I act like I'm the only fucking person on earth who has done it? Do I have actual flight experience? Maybe, but with your god like abilities to see all you already know the answer.
In fact, it’s insulting to those that have actually done it all to have their profession dumbed down to a video game, and to have those gamers act like they’re on the same level of skill in any capacity
@@CramcrumBrewbringer Are you in any way associated with politics? You have said a lot without saying anything and I'm still wondering when you are going to make a point. I'm also wondering why you wasted your time engaging with me about a game you dislike so much or even clicked on the video in the fist place? Maybe this is what you were looking for instead. th-cam.com/video/IDx34E5PK2I/w-d-xo.html&
the apache feels like a final product 2.0 compared to the chinook 😀
Yea if you buy a simulator and don't have the needed hardware , like a flight stick or a steering wheel that has feedback. Don't try.. Or refund. Don't ask if you can play it with a keyboard and mouse or controller I say this as a person who has Dirt rally 2.0 and IL: cliffs of dover...... and none of the hardware. they will lie , but honestly. Even if you somehow manage to do something , you will not be using the software . It will be a fluke ,and worse than alllll of that. You will feel bad. other than that . People only stick around if they are learning. I don't care what you are doing. If it isn't something new , doing or trying... It will go into the "Already seen everything" category. So yea if you die cause of something you learn cool. but if you die cause of bullshit.. fuck that Similarly... I don't really like the flight manuals. Cause they don't teach you. They make you memorize. seriously go download the su-25 manual from dcs and read it or worse the p-50 mustang or something.... How they tell you to start is just...... It tells you everything. They want a script not a think. Soooooooooooooooooooo be prepared to not just learn , but to literally research. aka spend brute forcing time.... brute forcing what? Searching... lots of "wasted" time. ( that's just how data searching goes :p , ask your computer ) For each module being the cost of a game , you'd except a good course in understanding what you are doing also most people don't want to see another person ever again... not after 8hrs of bs. and 1 hr of lunch bs. so yea.. idk about pvp and dying
I don't really like the flight manuals. Cause they don't teach you. They make you memorize. - how do you think learning to play an instrument or reading music or learning to code works? DCS isn't doing anything different in terms of flight simulators.. of the 30 or so I've played maybe 2 had manuals that were entertaining to read. Manuals are boring, but as I said you have to wade through the BS.
The group I was flying with crashed a couple of months ago, and since it felt to me like it had been coming for months before that, and I was tired of flying alone ALL OF THE TIME, I just put DCS down for months. Now I'm catching up. I got the Kola map, and the Afghanistan map, the F-4 and the Chinook (I have taking off and landed in the Phantom, but that is all I did. I've started learning the CH-47F, but I've got a hankering for putting warhead on foreheads, and that in the Apache. But I don't know how to do that any more, especially because I was just getting used to using the Fire Control Radar and the new controls I needed to set up for that, and now I have no idea of anything and can start from scratch again UGH! Oh well <== mantra of a DCS virtual pilot.
I made a video covering exactly what you speak of with the FCR a couple days ago.
Digital clown sim
HA !! Dont hold back bro....
Very good
thanks baby cakes.
been playing for years and agree
Yeah...... true. ................................................................................................................................................guilty.
All of us have been in or are in one of these categories. The point I was trying to make and missed is that you learn nothing by learning a bit, quitting then coming back and relearning what you forgot. It's and endless cycle that lead to little progress.
@@spaghetti9845 I don't disagree with anything you've said. :) You're on the money. I reflected on my own failings while listening to your video.
The message is don't play dcs.
i would say pause it during some of the earlier bits with a voice over but other then that good video!
Agreed.
I can’t watch low flying footage like this without hearing the Quintessential Airwolf theme in my head. Agreed. DCS can definitely be exhausting. The planes and helicopters are from the 80’s so it’s like programming an old VCR while flying at 30ft above ground level.
When I was a kid, a hospital in dallas had a bell 222 that would visit the hospital my father worked at fairly often. A real treat for a 10 year old. And as far as programming stuff.. the apache is weird that some stuff is easy and other stuff that should be easy is needlessly ... not difficult but takes more steps than it should.
Same scene when the phantom released
I remember when the 1st day the Apache released. I logged into a server and when I spawned in, all I saw were apache swarms over the airfield, spinning out of control and crashing every where. Hilarious.
much hasn't changed...
I lost it at the guy spinning
That's me when I drive the ka-50
