    on the first hand, I understand the river logic of bet/3bet to fold Villain's trips. what if Villain had the Q of diamonds? then it would be an easy call because Munez would have 0 value, right? is this even worth thinking about?

    • @Jayser1337
      @Jayser1337 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You're right, with Q of diamonds villain must always bluff catch because he blocks almost all potential value combos, however we're still putting him into a tough spot with his other Qx or 77\55 w/o diamonds

    I feel like the QJ bet on the turn again is a big disaster..

      because you're behind bet, 3bet on the flop value. and you are now losing to turned straights when you have equity.. if he somehow has 7x of hearts too we just folded.

    this effect is primarily SPR, like you said. but you missed be most crucial part. this effect only shows up for SPR <0.5 The moment its 0.6 or 0.7 this effect disappears. You will see lot of these kind of effects in 4B pots.I wouldn't call them bluffs or value bluffs either. You aren't really folding out anything better and are getting called by worse. real "value bluffs" show up in all spots and usually when you deeper SPR like a 100BB starting stack

    75s hand , when villain have Q of diamond we have 0 value hands in our range right ? Can we have any value hand when he has that card ?

  • @samuraijack1371
    @samuraijack1371 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

    21:48 f you assume the opponent has a skill edge then it’s in our favor to play a 4bet pot than a 3B pot. Smaller spr takes away some of the skill edge also negates the positional advantage.

    • @Jayser1337
      @Jayser1337 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      In such case folding an indifferent hand preflop is even more in our favor ;)

    33:30 interesting that the J of clubs is blocking flushes on the river , I think it doesn’t cause villain is not gonna pot turn with Jxs of clubs so it might be irrelevant

    • @pistihufnagel7725
      @pistihufnagel7725 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yea, it only blocks JJ and AJ, but they are very strong bluff catchers with the Jc, my guess is they are pure calls in GTO.

    16:30 interesting that we check back 54 on the river , i think if we jam 44 for example we lose to the same range, maybe we beat J8s (if you 3b it pre) so based on that we could also jam 54 and expect oop to call some one pair hands

    • @Jayser1337
      @Jayser1337 หลายเดือนก่อน

      54 also loses to rare 87s and set of 88, but you're right, shoving with 54 for value should work well, especially if OOP is on a bit looser side
