It's horrible what she went through.It's so hard to believe the level of horror. I will say it's not helping any to keep saying "these men" that do this. Okey this professor Toon lost me at 1:24:20 when he mentioned the Natos article 6 and that the the Nato countries indvaded Afghanistan to take care of the Muslims. He there drew parallels to that all Muslims are terrorists which is completely utterly wrong and She should have corrected him then and there. That's blatantly being an Islamophob. I reading this book as a teen & it really got me into reading. I never finished it got to book 4 & stopped for whatever reason...now being 35 i finally decided to finish and it was / is an amazing story as i remembered reading it again. I appreciate his story telling. <3 enjoyed this vid. ^_^

I feel like part of the healing process should be naming names. I do not feel like these evil people will not be stopped until victims start naming names. If that happened, people would be afraid to be held accountable for their sick desires. I couldn't heal if I didn't name names and put the shame on the abusers. Plus it would be a life saving tool. No one would be bold enough to try to harm people once their name was out there. You would be the first they looked at if you were publicly named.

This actually blows my mind - I worked on Soulstorm as an Environment Artist, and I've been watching both you and Caddy for years and had no idea you both talked about Soulstorm together like this! Caddy is right, the team was tiny. The Environment Art was created by myself and my lead mostly, with some outsource dipping in to help towards the busier periods. The animations were done solo by Tom Bramall, who's an absolute beast - we both work together at a new company now. :) I do agree with you though, as an Oddworld fan it pained me to see the design direction it ended up taking in the end. I actually said it'd probs get a Metacritic score of ~65 and was told I was being pessimistic lmao I joined Soulstorm as my first art gig, so the imposter syndrome was absolutely killer - especially given the pressure I was under to create so much work in a few months, during the pandemic... So pretty much all alone. 😂 Caddy's words on acknowledging the team size really gave some perspective for me - I always told myself the things he mentioned, but it's awesome to hear it from a tuber that I respect. Thanks for doing this guys ❤

Says he loved the Matthewmatosis video on New 'n Tasty and loves Matthewtosis in general. Then he proceeds to say he doesn't care about negative opinions others have about games and he's ceasing to watch reviews anymore as such? That's tantamount to double-speak, right there. Especially egregious as there's a bit in said video where Matthewmatosis rightly goes of on a nepotistic/self-serving advertisement that breaks the immersion of the immersive cinematic platformer to promote another game by a developer of New 'n Tasty. Now here's this clown, good friends with the figurehead dev and having a cameo in Soulstorm, extolling his love for the game and dismissing its widely panned plethora of flaws and tepid reception. He's allowed to likes what he likes, of course, but his biased and two-faced take here shatters his credibility. As someone who makes a career out of giving his opinion and, dare I say, critiquing video games his viewpoint here is laughable. The dude wouldn't even be invited to partake in this interview, would be a literal nobody, were it not for himself doing the very shit he very brusquely dismisses in this clip. He's no Matthewmatosis. He's not at all credible, even. Just another sell out corporate shill. The people who truly love Oddworld will always remember the reasons we actually love these games, what made them classics, and will want what's best for them. What's best is not to promote, at best, middling follow-ups to them. We will, instead, make known what's wrong with follow-ups like Soulstorm in the hopes that, someday, just maybe, that will result in positive improvement in the thing we love so much. And we won't comprise the sincere love and best wishes we have for the series for the almighty dollar like this clown; who demonstrably has because celebrity senpai noticed him and he got money and a bit of a spotlight out of so compromising.

People say he’s in denial or licking boots. I disagree. Like he said, he’s had a more broad perspective on it. He met the team, and understood some events that would’ve set the team back. With that in mind, it likely lowered his expectations, which is why he found it enjoyable compared to others. He doesn’t insult others who *didn’t* like it, or were left disappointed. Since he understands the long wait for it, and why people would be let down by it. The “no bugs” thing is plausible. Depending on the copy they gave Caddy, he could’ve gotten a version that actually had most of the bugs and glitches fixed (though minor ones still persisted, which even he states).

Not only are my two favorite creators watching my favorite show but ofc your opinions are all CORRECT I’ll happily stay in this echo chamber… I literally don’t understand how someone can in any way shape or form like Christopher at ANY point in the show

Apparently there was someone called Jesus, or the equivalent thereof.
