China Explorer - Episode 10 - Tianjin Mountains!
มุมมอง 122หลายเดือนก่อน
We took a trip to the Tianjin Mountain area which is the first time I've ever been there. It was getting very hot in the city and we were hoping it would be a bit cooler in the mountains but unfortunately it wasn't. Temperatures were around 34° during the day! So the second day we managed to find a forest walk which was really nice apart from going down some very steep steps and getting radiate...

มุมมอง 4.3K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
China Explorer - Episode 7 - Hainan holiday Our holiday to Hainan which is a tropical Island located in the most southern point of China. It was a lovely 9 day holiday and I got some good footage to show you some interesting things. The hotel was fantastic, although a little busy, but the kids loved it! It was interesting to see the difference in 'beach' culture compared to the west - in terms ...

Please respect the tour guide!!she is doing her job! Not making noice!!!
Thanks for your comment. Yes sorry if I said the wrong thing but at the time I was really struggling. I asked the tour guide at the very beginning if she would turn the volume down because it was too loud for me. Also because I could not understand what was being said and because it was constant but she basically refused and said if I wasn't happy then I needed to cancel the trip. She was not going to change anything just for one person. This is why I struggled with her because of her attitude or she needed to do was turn the volume down which would have made life a lot more comfortable. But anyway I did not mean to be disrespectful. So please accept my apology if I have been
Many countries tourist traps. Not only China 🇨🇳.
Tourists guide talks a lot. Not only China 🇨🇳. All over world 🌎 tourist guides doing same thing. You could do solo travel and do not like the noise.
Thank you for your comment. Yes I had no problem with the talking but it was. The volume was extremely loud and after politely asking her if she would turn the volume down. She basically said if I'm not happy then cancel the trip! All she needed to do was turn the volume down a bit. But the third lady was very nice, she was the one who took us in the mountain. She was not too loud and I really appreciated her. She was much more polite. But as a foreigner because I did not understand any of what was being said in all due respect to me it was just noise. Please don't take offence but sorry if I said the wrong thing
That's an impressive video .Thank you for sharing
Welcome to my hometown. Special trip👍
Thanks for sharing your video. Great jobs👍👍👍
I love love your videos ❤very much
Nice video!
I read in news that some travel agencies in Yun Nan are very unprofessional. Go with the decent ones, not the cheap ones.
Not following a group is the most comfortable way.😂
Some very pretty parks and wonderful footage from your travels. Thanks for sharing, John.
In China, there's only face you'll see more than Chairman Mao and that's Colonel Sanders.
Scenic. Lovely to photograph.
Cold noodles for breakfast! Haha
Hi John fiona Seren and Joshua , it looked so so Hot, scenery was Beautiful , Thankyou for Sharing Bless you all 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks Ange! 🙏
A ny one know the name of his hotel
My wife used to take me to all the tourist hotspots as well lol. And fancy spas. The best trip I ever did though was to Shanhaiguan (Dragon's Head) where the great wall ends at the sea. It's not far from where you are living. Up in the hills the wall is dilapidated and barely recognisable as a wall, a good stiff walk up mountains, very few people and an incredible feeling of age and history. You can walk for an hour on the wall without seeing anyone when you walk far enough. great for country people and pilots like us my friend and the village is charming. Or was in 2010 when I was there. No bomb-out spots I could see though. You will feel more at home there.
Thanks Peter. I'm definitely going to go there! Sounds really nice ! Yes, we have been to a few spas and massage places which was really nice.
You'll get used to the crowds, Just remember that those cities are made up of thousands of small communities. You'll find a park, a group of people who live in the street playing cards, dancing, a small town in the big city. Just feel the small town vibe in those places and you'll be fine. Don't look up at the skyscapers lol.
Thanks Peter. Great advice! 😃
I lived just over the peninsula in Dalian. Even less flying there lol so I'm looking forward to seeing more of that on your other channel, and watching your journey on this one. Always smile and things will go well (if slowly) in China. Good people like you do well there. Go well my friend.
Thanks again Peter for your comments and thank you for watching the videos and support!
Good vedio
That scenery is amazing ❤
Definitely getting really good at this filming quality plus love the background music..
Thank you, Paul!

is it ok to swim there? Because in most of the beaches in Hainan it is not allowed to swim
Yes, I was swimming and a lot of people were swimming but the funny thing was there was flag saying no swimming allowed which was really bizarre but I just ignored it and I never got into trouble
海南到处都是坑,专门坑外地人
I'd like to visit Hainan!
Does anyone know the name of the canopy trees?
I think they are called Pipa trees
In Indonesia, we call it KETAPANG tree...
If China have Chinese New Yewr, May and October Goldern Week holidays can get the plane and High speed train at West Kowloon station to HK trip. But when you arrived at West Kowloon station still in China side immigration used your China PR card and passport and then enter to HK sign arrival card and passport (similar as in the plane before reach HK sign the arrival card in the plane).
Many foreigners can stay in Hainan for 30 days visa free.
What is the name of the hotel you stayed?
It is called the horizon resort hotel
Tian yu hotel in San ya.

Are you deliberately showing rhe most shitty and boring places or you are just mentally ill?
You are doing good. I prefer wider places its bit too busy for me :). great video
Yes, based on your personality, I can sense that the crowds and hustle and bustle might not be ideal for you. But I enjoy your vids and I hope China is treating you well. I'm an American living up to your north. Nice to meet you, sir. (Used to live in Tianjin, but I lived in the TEDA, special economic development area).
Thanks very much for the message. That's very interesting that you also lived in Tianjin and now you aren't further north. Whereabouts are you living now?
@@johnrudge212 Q: Are you living now? A: I hope he is not yet deceased.
@@richardthegingerbo909 Hi there, sorry I made a slight mistake. I meant to ask you whereabouts are you living now? I mean what city?
@@johnrudge212 I know. I was just bein' foolish.
Haha, love the kid giving her instructions on how to drive! Very funny and cute. New subscriber, by the way
Thanks so much! 😊
Welcome to China!! If you open your heart to embrace Chinese people & culture, less judgments & compressions, you will have a lot of fun as a TH-camr. Overall China is a huge developing country with 1.4 billion people, many times bigger & crowded than England. Chinese people are extremely friendly, helpful & curious about Foreigners once they get to know you, so please get out of your English Gentleman’s comfortable zone to experience it!! Have a great time in China!!😄
Thanks for the message 🙂 yes, I can see a lot of sense in what you said, it difficult to let go of our culture and the things that we used to and to stop making comparisons and judgements. I will try to take your advice to heart as much as possible. Thank you so much for what you said
A nice vlog🎉
