RED DEAD REDEMPTION on YUZU 4K (Ryzen 5800X3D / RTX 4080)
Just a quick test. Captured on YUZU EA 3754, in 2160p, UNLOCKED framerate. Overally, if that one pesky vegetation bug is patched (I reckon it has something to do with FSR, which can only be disabled on PS4 port), it will be the ultimate way to play RDR on PC.

Captured on PC running AMD Ryzen 5800X3D, Zotac GeForce RTX 4080 Gaming Trinity, and 64 gigs of ram running at 3600MHz. Using Xenia Canary canary_experimental@5e0c67a438 at 2x resolution scalling (3x max you get is 30fps).

the vegetation bug is limited to Vulkan. It doesn't happen with OpenGL.

What causes the blurring in the game? Is that a bug?
it happens when running the game in vulkan, running it in openGL fixes the problem.
@@iamjcw2k10 Yes. That does solve the problem but for some reason, my fps dip a lot with openGL.
@@mtlam09 it's better to wait for the vulkan fix, opengl needs powerful gpu in order to run properly

sur yuzu pour les bug graphique dans graphique mettre api : opengl shader backend : glsl ca a l'air de bien passer pour l'instant sur config i5 9400 f et gtx 1070 en resolution 2x obliger de redescendre a resolution native pour 30fps stable sur ma config ca reste très joli

What about Ryujinx? Does the bug also occurs?
Yes, just tested it - same issue appears. Prolly FSR related, needs to be patched out. Yuzu is far superior here. You cannot unlock FPS there for some reason, and the game does not scale properly.
I really hope they will find a way to keep FSR working while also fixing the bug because FSR does definitely help a lot with teh shimmer (xbox version runs at a native 4k and still has more aliasing than the ps5 version due to FSR)@@MultiKross
@@MultiKross i've tested it and it seems to be an issue with using vulkan. using openGL fixes this issue. hopefully it gets patched soon though

Just thinking to buy the 5800x3d over my 3600 to play this...but I got the 5700xt...the gpu could be the limit
Xenia is more cpu intensive than gpu. So if you upgraded to the 5800x3d you would see higher fps then if you didn’t. Your gpu is really great no need to upgrade until further down the line imo. I have a 6700xt and I’m not worried about upgrading for a good few years!
