I have that same guitar.....curious, do you have trouble with the intonation on the low E string? I always have to tune it a bit flat so when I fret it say at the third fret it will not be sharp. Btw.... nice beginner lesson. Short, clear, and to the point.

Why do you credit this to French Carpenter? I can't find any recording of him playing a version that sounds remotely like this. The 1963 recording that you seem to reference is on TH-cam, but it is not this tune (th-cam.com/video/daEcu45y4qA/w-d-xo.html). Can you offer any further details on the source? We play this and want to find out where it is from. Thank you!
