Furutakas bread and butter is her AP. Shes the only cruiser at t5 that gets 203's, dont waste your time with he spam, especially not against broadside targets. Also, germans dont get improved AP pen, they get HE pen. 1/4 caliber as opposed to the regular 1/6th, why you can forego IFHE in those things. What german DD's get is larger caliber guns, which is why he could citadel you this easily. Furutaka actually has pretty much the best armor among all t5 CL's.

im watching this video coming from queen elizabeth (my favorite battleship) but i noticed this ship has HORRBILE dispersion and doesn't shoot long. basically this ship u gotta tough it out.

Thanks for the guide and your in-game commentary. While this was done about 2 yrs ago and some things may well have been tweeked by WG since then, I really enjoy your presentations. There were several interesting hints you mentioned as asides that beginners could very well miss, such as locking and swiveling the turrets in preparation and your in-game observations on why another ship was probably heading into danger. And did. Dispersion sure seems to be an enemy of newer players with these mid-tier US Battleships. I hope the higher ones improve somewhat.

Just want to say thank you for these tier V videos. I’ve been having a lot of fun so far getting back into the game. Haven’t played it since 2020. Only been playing tier V and lower. Your videos have really helped me learn tactics for each of these ships. I’ve seen an immense improvement in my gameplay so far since watching. Thank you!
