Dumb question, but I looked your results video and it seems too low for me and where I live. Can I get eventually a 1/2inch drop by cutting just the side shims at the end of the spring where it sits on the control arm ? Just asking since I saw you had that setup on your spring

Your points are valid bro… I haven’t drove one yet but the C6 is known to be more raw feeling. Mechanical steering and differential contribute to that. The C7 is a little heavier cause of the better interior and other gadgets like the variable valve timing and the active fuel management systems. It was set up to be more of a track car so the high downforce at higher speed means it slows down quite a bit. Looks are subjective, that’ll always be a debate between those who prefer the C6 look or the C7 look. I personally love the C6 look but prefer the C7 look, especially the wide body C7s. I have a C7 GS myself with an M7 but I admit there’s a few things I could do without, especially the AFM which was a stupid idea for a vette. Never turn the rev match on either. But it’s still a corvette bro, I’ve been a fan my whole life and grew up with the C5 and C6 which I love too! But the C7 blew me away when it came out. I feel the C8s are really when they stopped being corvettes. At least a C7 is still Front engined and can be had with a manual.😊

Glue the wedges to the frame, NOT to the spring. Yes i know what the Vansteel instructions say, and yes they're incorrect. You need to trim down the aluminium spring retainer saddle a bit to make up the difference too. This is certainly one of the better videos i've seen on this job.

C4s have become my favorite looking corvette.

Why so much hate for the C7? It’s practically a derívate of the C6, it’s still front engine and can still come with a stick lol imo that was the last true corvette

Damn C, we must be brothers from another mother. I have an LT4 and this May I bought a 13 GS ,the white with silver stripe ,diamond blue 4LT guts real Anniversary package. May sell the LT4 this spring. Check your harmonic balancer and see if you smell gas in the garage when it is full. The crossover gas tk pipe cracks at top ,cost mucho to fix. Like 2200. The hb costa about half that to replace. Roll safely, these things are fast.

Automatic Z07s included a stronger torque converter and 3.07 axle. Ride height is noticeably higher in front due to the beefier spring.

I've got a white lt4 and I get vibration in the steering wheel when I go over 80-85mph.had tires rebalanced, still does it. Havnt figured it out yet. From what I've read, alot of these cars vibrate at certain speeds for some reason reason. It's annoying though.
