The Lion, the Allah Wale, and the Zaalim Malika - An Islamic Moral Story
Once in an ancient kingdom, a zaalim malika (cruel queen) ruled with an iron fist, oppressing her people and showing no mercy even to the pious. Among her subjects was an Allah wale (devout man), known for his righteousness and unwavering faith. The zaalim malika, feeling threatened by his influence, ordered him to be thrown into the jungle, hoping he would perish. But as fate would have it, a ferocious lion approached him. Instead of attacking, the lion bowed before the Allah wale, recognizing his piety.
Hearing of this miracle, the zaalim malika grew more enraged and tried to harm him again. But soon, she faced Allah ka azab (Allah's punishment). Her palace crumbled, and she was left alone in the same jungle, where the same lion that spared the Allah wale now roared menacingly at her. Realizing her sins too late, she met her end, a clear reminder of the consequences of zulm (oppression).
This sabaq amoz waqia (lesson-filled story) teaches that no matter how powerful one may be, oppressing the righteous leads to downfall. It’s a timeless Islamic moral story that highlights the importance of justice, faith, and the ultimate power of Allah’s will.
