what a worthless exercise if you want to sprint (says a guy who was crazy fast)
So it does get you faster?
This isn't a worthless excercises and your 100m time is probably 25 seconds
Approach Jump (1 Step & 2 Step)
I think the right adductors are being stretch more than the left during the hip shift but maybe my geometry/physics isn’t lining up. Seems like the adductors stretch on the left leg initially but with the lean the contralateral adductors stretch, no?
great content coach ,, keep uploading .

Whats ur take on barbell squats for increasing vertical? Ive gotten alot stronger but nothing showing in my vertical...
At some point, the use of strength training in Vertical Jump program is essential. There must be a greater force created to elicit a higher jump (i.e. strength training). In coordination with the strength training there should be a good plyometric/jump program in order to "train" the body how to use the newly acquired strength. I have also seen athletes who increase their strength but their jump is not technically sound so they do not benefit from all of this newly acquired strength. It is a case by case basis and should be assessed prior to having a better understanding. I hope this helps. Let me know if I can help in any way.
Nick Brattain yeh that makes sense. I dont really do anything in terms of technical work. Ive stoped playing basketball a while back too. Just strength training now. Just interesting to note that jump has stayed the same despite doubling my squat. I guess my muscles got used to moving slowly and not firing in coordinated fashion for speed. Thanks mate.
