Thank you so much!! 😀 Hmm, not an obvious choice really but probably an Vizsla too be honest. A Vizsla is a bit more "needy", in a way, but also very loyal and always keeping you company. A Weimaraner is a bit more creative and doesn´t need 100% attention all the time, however they are quite clever and can become a bit too creative sometimes and they are a tougher breed in comparison. Both are absolutely lovely breeds though!

@@marcuswithacam I'm hoping to get both and from what I've learned from owners, they do recommend the vizsla first. But, they're two gorgeous breeds and I love them both!

Thank you so much for your kind comment! I really appreciate it! Regarding the walks, 2-3 hours is about the actual time we walk each day, but divided over the day of course. About 30-45 min in the morning, 1-1,5 hours midday (or when it’s light outside in this dark country) and 30 min in the evening. At the weekend’s we tend to go for a longer walk during the day, however there is a limit to the time and length because Freya’s hips are not that good and a reasonable length of the walk is better for her. That being said, there are days that we take shorter walks as well, and that’s just fine too. Vizslas love being close to you and I feel that if you are calm, they are calm and if you let them follow you in what chores you do, it will keep them pretty busy too. Also, when we walk, we always try to walk through the fields or the forest were we can let them run freely and play. In this way I reckon they walk about 10 times what we walk just checking out the area. They are a active breed but I have never experienced them being stressed out. Maybe I’m just being lucky. However, I’m really happy for you getting a Vizsla again and I wish you both lots of fun and love for many years to come.

They really do! Most people think that Freja (Vizsla) and Signe (Weimaraner) are the same breed and that they only differ in colour. They actually are quite similar in behaviour too but with some differences of course. Hard to tell if most of them are because of the breed though or just personality.
