I hate them 6 football players that went 2 Jail they know better than 2 Rob they blew they’re money gambling, Jesse my 1st Person on there he’s the only person that didn’t rob & didn’t go 2 jail he’s on probation 4 stealing a $15 t shirt sides he had his brain focus on the real world 🌎 he worked hard on going 2 college on a football scholarship & the NFL he made both, he’s the only person that was rich & famous on there I’m the same as him I would’ve worked 4 the money instead of robbing it hard work 😓 pays off.
This is why you make good choices. Even when your young. These were all promising you men with a bright future ahead of them along with scholarships to play football and because of bad choices they pissed all away in the blink of an eye. Being athletes means absolutely nothing when you break law. That's how it should be. It's a travesty and such a waste to have seen these young men throw their future away like they did.
Jessie Armstead has been involved with the New York Giants front office even after he retired. He didn't win the Super Bowl as a player but he does have 2 Super Bowl rings as a member of the Giants front office. The guys that did get locked up are doing well for themselves now but they could've been off to bigger and better things
About a year before the robberies, Jessie Armstead was caught shoplifting and his mother was very upset at what happened. Jessie promised to his mother that he would never hurt her like that ever again
THIS MOVIE REALLY TEACHES YOU MAKING THE RIGHT DECISIONS, JUST LIKE ARMSTEAD DID. I REALLY HATE THAT THE PRAYERS GOT TO ROBBING PEOPLE INSTEAD OF GETTING A JOB. IT WAS VERY EMOTIONAL AT THE END. I JUST COULDN'T WATCH IT ANYMORE. AND LESSON WAS DON'T JEOPARDIZE YOUR FUTURE BY DOING SOMETHING CRAZY AND MAKING BAD DECISIONS.
That’s some bs man fuck the court systems..I’ve seen murder cases with less years given.. idc what anyone of you mfs think..they did those boy dirty. They took money they didn’t take a life.
Should of gave them more time and made an example out of them. Gotta scare people from wanting to rob other people because it will be a light sentence if I get caught.
Good movie I love ❤️ Jessie he’s my number 1 person on there he’s the only person who didn’t robbed & didn’t go 2 jail he was on parole 4 stealing a $15 t shirt he gave his word 2 his folks that he’ll never steal again, he worked hard by keeping his brain focus by not losing his college football scholarship & going 2 the NFL Pros he’s which was he’s the only person on there he went 2 college & made it 2 the NFL he was the only person who was rich & famous on there.
I finished watching this movie and it was very emotional. It was sad but at the same time, every action comes with consequences. This should be an eye opener for everyone.
They shouldn’t never robbed they know better than that, they lost their football scholarship they should’ve had their brain set & focus on their football scholarships, & don’t do the crime if u can’t take the time, sides this a good movie.
I just don’t agree with them being released from prison, I’m sorry but I don’t. They committed a series of serious offenses. Terrified hard working people who work hard for what they have. Them being released is like saying it was ok for what they did. Sorry but I don’t agree with all their releases. Like the old saying goes if you can’t serve the time then don’t do the crime. I’m a hard working American who provides for his family with an honest days hard work. I put in 14 to 16 hr days 7 days a week for 3 weeks. I’m home with my family for only 3 days a month then I’m gone again. But these guys gotta go out and rob people for what they have worked so hard for. It’s wrong and I don’t agree. They should all still be in there
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!! Jesse Armstead didn't fall into the BS they did, they could've done the same. Glad they got out and understood the ramifications of their actions and not become career criminals!!
My sister Freda Martin played Mrs. Evan's, Derek Evan's mother. She lost her battle with cancer yesterday 11-30-2020. She was only 48 years old. Please pray for my family. We are devastated. Freda was a vital part of our family.
Wow I’m friends with her on Facebook and just finding out about this I played Jessie Armstead in this movie I spent a lot of time with her on set she was funny and talented when I first met her she said “ they know damn well Jessie not lightskin with green eyes “ I busted out laughing damn rip queen
I saw the movie. I was so touched by it. And I was hurt for the players. Me, I am an NFL fan. And I feel that the NFL could've been different if these guys had done what Jesse Armstead did and said no to ever committing these crimes. Again I was hurt for them. But I am also a man who's been mugged twice. It could've been even more if I hadn't learned signed to look when I am out and about especially at night. My wish is that society would do a much better job at helping black young men not commit the crimes at all giving white judges a chance to sentence them to hard time in prison. Glad that they real life guys are out and doing well.
Again has NOTHING to do with RACE black or white or brown or yellow or purple or green it does not matter a crime is a crime and a sentence is a sentence no matter what color the person is
What's fucked up is this is part of the cycle. This is why it's so important to get an education because a lot times the parents are so busy trying to make a living with jobs that you have to work 3x as much just to get by. they don't time to properly raise these kids therefore the end up doing dumbshit like this.
Yeah...you heard the illiterate fuckwit who might have a GED, but I doubt it ...STFU! How dare you say that a man who went through years of college, took a law school admission test, earned a Juris Doctorate passed the bar, and earned his judgeship is a hero? And the utter audacity of that Judge to send a strong message to a bunch of ignorant punks whose only real regret is that they got caught and sentenced to serve time. You know, come to think of it ... THAT JUDGE IS A HERO!

Ex football players facing football numbers
Tough talking conservative Texas judge.

This was truly a emotional moment 😢
I like wireless stuff that works as soon as you plug it in
I tip my hat to Jessie Armstead. He went on to have good career in NFL cause he chose not to jump off bridge like his other teammates.

Greg Hill also made it to The NFL. KC Chiefs selected him in the first round.

They all did 4-5 years and got out and got degrees.
yall nigga got me fucked up doing that shit to my mom im out prision now i got the whole truth about it all
Kudos for the judge for making examples of these criminals and yes they were all criminals.
You happy they got locked up, ain't you¿? Must be white
They don’t give killers this much time! Just crazy
Excellent acting by EVERYONE in this scene. It looked just like the raw footage sentencing on TH-cam!
I cant find the real court sentencing video on TH-cam
Fuck around.....find out
Should of gave them more time and made an example out of them. Gotta scare people from wanting to rob other people because it will be a light sentence if I get caught.
It's as though they were going to the gallows.
That judge gave them time like it was free candy being a texas resident I heard stories of carter high robberies from my older co workers
That shit wasn’t fare at all

This was a fun movie
Just because you play sports doesn't make you any different. BAD DECISIONS EQUALS CONSEQUENCES

I think it was 21 armed robbies enough said u make your jail bed u will eventually lie in it
80 and 100 years I would’ve killed myself right there 😔😢😢😢
No one got sentenced to 80 or 100 years. Look up the word concurrent. The sentences were fair.

I have no sympathy for them. They tried to rob people for their greed. They got what they fuckin deserve.

Bro they got light sentences in real life. None of them even served 10 years. If anything they didn't get punished harsh enough..
Again has NOTHING to do with RACE black or white or brown or yellow or purple or green it does not matter a crime is a crime and a sentence is a sentence no matter what color the person is
Judge is redneck racist pig
Honestly them guys should of known the bed they was making arm robbing multiple stores. Its luck for them getting out less then ten
I say 10 years max, for each of em, they didn’t harm anyone
Didn't harm anyone. What exactly would you say pulling a gun out on someone and threatening to kill them is, non-violent?
we had the pleasure of shooting the visual for this powerful song, th-cam.com/video/ILRIBkOYhSA/w-d-xo.html
I haven’t visited Texas since moving in 2014. Six years later, I still have fever dreams about The Cooking Connection, fresh tortillas, and the Buddy.
This was a true story by the way in on there way to college 😂😂😂

These kids literally all came from good families. Grew up living solidly middle class lifestyles.
Did anyone else cheer when they got sentenced?
That's lame asf
Always a hootin and a hollerin. Raise your kids right. Wanna be treated equal? ACT EQUAL!!

@@ghoststreak7266 I don't like what they did. The Judge should gave them 10 or 12 years in prison for the crimes they commit.
