So I have been going to Vallarta for 25 years. I actually was a bartender there for a few years. I have family there my god children and great long life friends. I always tell everyone to go there. I personally don’t care for the growth and massive all inclusive resorts. I also understand that it’s needed and it gives jobs to many locals so they live a decent life. I would recommend an all inclusive in Vallarta because they have so many amazing restaurants to eat at and to me it’s an extremely safe town. I guess if you kids and don’t really want to leave the resort I guess all inclusive is great. I personally think to go to Vallarta and not see its beauty and absolutely amazing people for me it’s a waste. I love this site you guys do an amazing job of showing everything. For now I still come for a couple month time but when I move back I will definitely be using your services. Keep doing a great amazing job I love it!!!

wow! expensive tolls! That works out to about $60 US or $80 canadian each way. I wonder if the bus would be cheaper? Do you know if any bus lines (especially the first class buses) between the 2 cities take this toll road? And what about flying? I did a search and the cheapest flights between the 2 cities is a lot less than the tolls, if you don't have any luggage. I was thinking, if we spend the winter in PV (we are canadians), it would be nice to go to Guadalajara for 2-3 days.

(I'm also a foody and worked in a Michelin starred restaurant so food's very important to me) Im planning to go to Puerto Vallarta in a few months and your videos are helping. I think the economy has to do with you seeing less people in PV. Everything is expensive and people are probably being a bit more cautious with their money. I could be totally wrong but it's what i assume.

we drove the toll road from Tepic back home to GDL last summer. it was about the same price as you mentioned here from Bucerias. that is incredibly expensive for a 3 hour drive! clearly they want to minimize traffic to only rich people with those kinds of prices. that is one week's pay of the Mexican minimum wage...
