I made use of 5yards for The Tulle(you can use way more than this if you want a fuller net effect/look), I made use of regular linen in place of dullface (because I didn’t want the dress to be heavy on the baby) and I think it was 1 and a half yards or 2yards I made use of for the linen, other lighter fabric you can use in place of dullface is soft/light crepe material

It’s okay❤️, what I meant was, I was inputting my bust span measurement after dividing it by 2 (and this is because I wanted a dart on the skirt, darts kind of gives a nice fitting to clothes, although not every sewist makes use of darts on skirts, so it’s optional) And to get the bust span measurement: you can calculate for it or you measure from one nipple to the other and divide what you get by 2, so for me after measuring I got 8inches, divided by 2 gives me 4inches, so I marked out the 4inches from the center front. For the side pockets it depends on the type you want,for the common pocket type, just simply cut out 4 pieces of fabric that is 8 or 10inches in width and 12inches long, then curve the bottom side(I will drop link of a video where I sewed a side pocket to a short so you know how to go about it) and for the joining, yes you can join the front crotch to front crotch and back crotch to back crotch and proceed to joining the sides seams and middle seams(in other words there’s no problem)

I am glad you found this video helpful, there are size charts for it, and you can also create your own charts, once your customers take their body measurements, you cross-check with your size chart to see which size the customer measurement matches with … and that’s how you know your customer size

Yes, I do use 3 by 3 when it comes to neck collar for all sizes, you can also use bust/12 to get the specific neck size for the individual too
