It was 2 AM and you heard the usual alarm that your comfort character set for work. You stir slightly and your comfort character asks in a soft voice if you're awake or not, you reply "indeed I am" tiredly. They sigh and tell you "Sunshine, you should get some rest you haven't been sleeping due to the all nighters of homework/shifts". "I'm fine" you mutter while dozing off. "No, my dear you're not". They said quietly. "I'm not tired though..." You say as you're clearly falling asleep, your eyelids betraying you as you surrender into this inescapable slumber, they chuckle slightly at this and lean down to gently kiss your forehead. "I gotta get ready for work now, sleep well my sunshine" they say sweetly. You fell asleep after hearing sleep well, feeling loved. (Sorry this is super bad)

His voice dripping with sleep as he says, “Okay I’ll be there soon.” Your stomach dips just like it does every time you hear those words. It never fails, every time fear and dread over the unknown makes their way into your heart. But is quickly replaced by something else as you feel his lips touch your head as he leans over to kiss you. You let out a soft and tried sound that may have been a “Stay”. You more feel him than hear him as he lets out a small chuckle. You know he won’t and you know deep down that you wouldn’t want him to even though you want that more than anything right now in the early hours of the morning. You feel the bed move as he stumbles to the bathroom and turns the shower on. You slowly fall back to sleep comforted to know that he will come back in a few minutes to kiss you goodbye before he leaves.

|enemies to lovers| - You were knocked unconscious during a fight and you got beat up pretty badly. You are slowly coming out of a deep and peaceful slumber (which you haven’t had is god knows how long) and you are so comfortable. You are enveloped by soft and worn sheets and surrounded by a strong yet comforting scent that you don’t recognize yet know all the same. As you slowly begin to stretch you hear the shower turn on and a door being closed. You are not alone. Your sleep begins to wear off faster. You open your eyes, or at least try to one is too bruise and cut up to open. You try and take in you're surroundings as your heart begins to beat faster. You recognize a suit jacket haphazardly thrown on a chair. It's theirs. The one they shrugged off as the fight began. The one you hazily remember being draped over your shoulders as they carry you. . . God how could you be so stupid! You scream at yourself in your head. You need to move you think to yourself. You need to leave. This is wrong, you shouldn’t be here. Yet for some reason, your body doesn’t respond to your thoughts. Perhaps it's the exhaustion, you're broken and bruised body betraying you. Or at least that's what you tell yourself as you slowly fall back down into the mountain of pillows and close your eyes. The overwhelming feeling of peace and safety (which shouldn’t appear) returns as you drift back to sleep.
