Que increíble como han cambiado los gustos ese año domino el rock alternativo.el grunge.el hip hop .el rythm and blues y el pop moderado.en estados unidos.aca en chile también tuvimos los mismos gustos más la música eurobeat que pego en discotecas
Aquí en Perú, los éxitos alternativos sólo sonaban en las estaciones de rock en diferentes ciudades, solamente algunas cruzaron a las radios de pop y formato Mix... como Zombie. El R&B y hip hop no tuvo mucho eco por aquí.

1996 was the first year I started to notice music as a 9 year old and it was all thanks to George Michael's Fastlove and Return of The Mack which remain my favourite songs of all time to this day. The Spice Girls, Oasis, Gabrielle, Boyzone were at their peak, looking back it was one of the best years in music ever.

@@JoseAraujocom are you talking about My strongest suit? It was on the radio constantly. There should be some of their solo entries during 1999, 2000 (Holler also!) and 2001 for sure. Their problem was that they got lazy and bored with their solo careers, which is why they started to fade away. The only true musician is Melanie C, who still releases music 😃
