It seems like it’s been out long enough for the aftermarket to get caught up. I ended up getting a new diff at the hobby store I purchased mine from, under warranty, but it still has plastic couplers. But it seems to hold up better when it’s warm out. Good luck to you! I still have to put a rear shock tower on our 1/10 version of the Granite. 👍 it’s definitely worth it due to the joy these vehicles bring to whoever is pulling the throttle trigger!

They all have there ups and downs. I love taking the knowledge iI have and am acquiring and putting it towards new builds and old ones as well. It’s kinda like watching a child grow…the little Scx24 yellow Jlu is amazing to me. Kinda built it from scratch, its my 1st LCG build and it turned out so good! I like how when it goes over an obstacle you swear it will role, and it doesn’t! Im putting together in parts and in my head a TRX4 axle, class2 hard bodied, build with a LCG chassis for comps. Thats exciting to me as well. If i were going to keep just one it would be Sammy the Samurai. Element enduro kit build W/ blue Samurai body. Its a total sleeper. Nobody expects it to do well. Then there like … oh… hmm.

It has a spectrum 3000kv amazon 3 gear, on 2s in this video. I may put in a Capra transmission I have sitting around (because of the higher gearing, and definitely 3s

They’re pretty good with a few mods.

Wheels are 1.9”, tires a 4.19” shock density? Oil is 30w shock oil. Amazon rubber bands to help limit sway side to side, and durring climbs. I also ended up removing the rubber 1/4” limiter/ lift spacers. Mine were under the springs pads, but if they were mounted above the lower spring puck they would help limit travel, which i would have probably left or at least tested. If this doesn’t help, then please clarify. If you have any other questions that I may be able to help with, then fire away. If this helps that is great and please have an excellent day👍🌟

I broke a steering knuckle at the last comp. Im considering upgrading axles to something a little more modern that steers sharper.

Yes. I agree. I thought about taking out the 2 speed servo. And mounting the esc in its place. The motor is huge compared to a fury tech outruner. It leaves a little to be desired. This is my Sons rig. So I’ keeping the upgrades pretty basic. Did you say Harley designs did the rearranging electronics you are talking about? Thank you for Your pleasant comment. 👍

Thank you for your comment. The tires on it were too big for my local RC Rock crawler group. So I’ll do another video with some changes. It was a little too top heavy with the big tires anyway. We’ll have to find something sticky yet smaller. Ill also revamp the suspension for a little more travel.
