I have so many questions really. My seammaster, the same one as yours, didn't come with a bobbin. What kind of bobbin do I need? I know these are such elemental questions, but any help would be immensely appreciated!
Can you do a video about threading this machine? I don't have my user manual!
Love my SeamMaster. Just had it serviced, and have to take it back, because the thread tension spring was not fixed correctly. 🙁

How do you thread it? I’m used to a Brother
I have the same machine, made in Taiwan. There are some models that say by Seammaster by Simplicity. Had it serviced about a year ago, after never having it service since I bought it, which was in the 90’s. Great machine, and simple to operate. I love it.
Is the threading difficult? I can’t find a manual for my 1700. Did you do a video of the cleaning and oiling? I just picked this up today and it doesn’t run as smooth as the one up you are using. I’d like to get it like yours.
It’s very easy to thread. Have the same machine, and I love it.
Amazing work and care of the customer! Soviet clones after 1963 have the same design like japanese, but have some casting underneath of the base for screw to fit simple shorter wood case like yours.
