Hey Dick, are you still cooking the Iranian rice that I taught you to make back in the day? Jesus, that seems so long ago now.

Great sound this!
Happened upon Rockaway on my first blind walk in the area. What a revelation! Mark is such a genuinely good guy too. Still bummed to not get married there, and not because of the failed romance haha
Free palestine
Am I trippin' or is that Dave from Neurosis on bass? Haven't seen any recent photos or live footage of him, but it looks like him, although it may be the angle or something, but I always thought he was pretty tall? Maybe the other members are just tall too. I dunno.
Dave from Neurosis on bass and Mauz from Dystopia on guitar
@@ConsciousVoid right, I was completely aware it was Matt on guitar, as he was how I had learned about this band, which had started with my peaking curiosity on what Matt looked like these days and found a reddit post containing the link to this video.
Im a big fan captain hotknifes peace and respect everytime ✌️
They are coming to Belfast in August, too bad it clashes with the Madness gig 😞
Q loco !!
Is this the band with the "I get knocked down again..." hit in the late 90s?
Yes!
fucking legends..
Steve talking about the kids with down syndrome warmed my heart ❤️😊
note the sad Troll is back on this page (David Freeman, little davey or Chris Herred)
Dick Lucas and his crew will always rule!!@@
How can continue to get more and more relevant???
Wize very good luvin the vibez. Em has a good voice two awesomeness
"Questioning conformity to a system i resent" also lives in my soul
"Just cuz you work for Babylon don't mean you won't get burned" Is burned into my soul.
Siiiiiiiiiiick
Whoop whoop!!!
I caught them live around the time of the Slap album a few times, which I travelled for to small venues. I did catch them once or twice in my own town when they were playing songs from the previous two albums prior to Slap. In that scene I was hooked on Chumbawamba. Absolutely incredible show every time. Really immersive and much more than just a band playing their songs. I don't ever remember there being a 'stage' when I saw them - it was always level, and when the music stopped they didn't disappear. They would hang out and you could walk around amongst them, chill out and chat and talk with all of them. Very, very happy times i am proud i had the opportunity to experience. Thanks Chumbawamba. ❤️
They were like kids here
I was the only person in the audience at a free festival in the late 80s/early 90s when Citizen Fish played at three in the morning, in the rain and it was only the singer. To be honest, I couldn't hear a word of what he was saying, but I was nodding along, totally wasted, and I think we understood each other. I was a big Culture Shock fan at the time so it didn't really matter, and I hope that, as the only person there, that I gave him as much support as I could while being too exhausted to dance. What came across, despite not being able to hear one single word, was that society needed to have more empathy. We both seemed to agree on that.
LOL Chumbawamba are Brilliant. Foolish ameriklans...
Okay, hear me out. Get a beret, get naked, get a Frank sized plastic dome that you can fit in and do this again.
FRANK!! heart.
Sean!! I'm so happy to see this, and get a glimpse at your process. Your work has always astounded. -stinkbot(jeremy)
Subhumans are a fucking band. ❤❤❤
thanks
To this very day, one of the best bands I have had the pleasure of seeing live (and I have seen hundreds)……
Pity it's so horribly middle class now. Was very different in the late 80s. Now it's just an alternative tourist destination for posers.
Like the entire scene has been for the last 20 years, especially HC.
@@leannecampbell4551 Punk in America was ALWAYS middle class. It was working class in the UK. Guess we're just catching up with the wankery now. Was at Cramond in 2022. Full of people with money who had travelled from all over the world. Sad. Was far better and more underground in 1989/90. Wasted now. Though Deek from Oi Polloi is from a comfortably well-off family, and they've been playing Cramond forever.
That bassplayer❤
