If you hunt around and are willing to spend some money you can put together good short go pen. Breeding and raising a short go pen is real hard, because you gotta have a lot of really good cows and a good sir. Even then all your calves might not turn out.

Actually have you seen how they treat them out of rodeos? Plus they are bred to buck and this is an important part of American traditions. I would say bull fighters are way more abusive than this could ever be.

@@horsesandhockey2142 Yes, there are always other bad examples. But that is no reason to act badly yourself just because others do. If you are tortured and someone tells you that others are worse off, are you satisfied? Do you feel good just because others are worse off? That is a lazy, nasty, immoral excuse!

That’s not what I was trying to say but I can see why you thought that. These bulls are bred for this. These bulls are not tortured. They buck because they are made for it and they have plenty of fun. I have gone to rodeos before and they are never mistreated. The bucking is because of a strap which is behind the rider which they try to get off. It causes no pain only slight discomfort because the bull already knows what to do.

Actually they are bred to buck and they actually love it lol The flank doesn’t hurt them just causes them to feel a tiny bit uncomfortable. These bulls are worth TONS of money and they stock contractors know this and so do riders. The rider respect the bull and don’t hurt them. Our spurs are super dull. If they are sharp your not even aloud to ride. Just letting you know because too many people get the wrong idea on bull riding.
