This is the first song I’ve ever heard from The Mountain Goats 🥹 I was walking around a Newbury Comics way back in 2003/2004 and that song started playing on the background. I hunted down the closest speaker I could find and stuck close to it. I was blown away 🥲🥲🥲 I started asking all employees desperately if they knew what band that was, some didn’t, until this one cool dude came to me and said “They are The Mountain Goats” and he handed me a couple of their albums. Bought all of them without even listening to all the other songs, cause I knew deep inside I was listening to something unique. Since then, I revere this band and this songs brings tears to my eyes 🥲
